Where will you race first in F1 24?
Hey folks, so, what are your plans and which track you'll want to try out first in F1 24? Things look quite a bit different! Here are some gorgeous new screenshots! On Twitter, we've also showcased a direct comparison and sneak peek of the updated track in Spa.EA_Vendcera9 months agoCommunity Manager1.5KViews20likes12CommentsPetition to revert controller handling to before the 1.7 patch
So with the 1.7 patch Codies changed the controller handling. Here's the list of what they changed: - The game now autocorrects if you overangle the car into the corner, making you understeer off - Changed steering angles values, aka now you steer less making the gap to wheel even bigger - On traction there's also some sort of steering assist that makes the car steer less if you lose the rear I can't add a video to diplay it, because "the size is too high", but people at Codies look at any controller gameplay after this 1.7 patch and tell me if thats any good Codemasters, revert the changes you guys made, the game is simply unplayable and unenjoyable2.7KViews17likes73CommentsQuick-Pitting During Qualifying
Currently as it stands in the game, during qualifying when you’ve finished your run and you return to the pits, the game returns you into the garage via the mechanics but what about a quick pit stop? for a new set of tyres in the last moments of a session where time is vital, when you need to get back out on track ASAP to set a better lap time. Like in the real world where you sometimes see drivers pit for new tyres or a front wing adjustment and then instead of returning to the garage, they go back out. Thought this might be cool!613Views16likes7CommentsHelmet personalization / Helmet Editor on EA SPORTS F1
The community has been asking for certain changes to EA SPORT F1 for years. Customization in games is totally outdated, especially in terms of helmets which are in no way realistic and very limited in modifications. This has been requested by the community for years (PS5/XBOX). The customization of helmets more precisely must be improved, tinted visor, Sponsors (Already licensed)... A mod editor present on other franchises would also be welcome. Please feel free to support me.DavidLld339 months agoRising Veteran2.2KViews14likes22CommentsCareer Personalization/Customization
I have posted on here before about everything I’d like to see in F124, although most of it probably isn’t happening I’d like to talk about some customization things that you guys could implement into the game to really let us personalize our drivers. First off, I HATE that the F1 franchise is the only game series under EA sports where you have absolutely no customization of your character, yes, there a lot of options for preset characters to choose from but come onnn it would make a lot of people happy if they had to ability to customize height and weight muscles mass etc. like you can in MADDEN or FC24, yes I know these things are obviously hidden by the fact that your always wearing a racing suit but it would just be a lot nicer to be able to customize stuff such as height weight muscle mass and let us customize our faces!! These things have been a feature in FIFA Madden and any other ea sports games for years, but yet the people over at code masters can’t even implement simple character customization. This would make the career mode better because you can really make your character personalized like you have been able to in other EA sports games for how ever many years. Next, LET US PUT SPONSORS ON OUR HELMETS!! I know it’s hard to get rights to all sponsors on f1 cars and stuff but if for example your signed with Ferrari, you should have the ability to put sponsors that are associated with Ferrari on your helmet, it is so dumb having no sponsors on your helmet it just looks stupid, also just besides sponsors helmet customization leaves a lot to be desired, we only have so many preset styles that we can customize but even then it’s not enough, that brings me onto the ability to put our names flags number etc on suits, it should just be a feature already to have our number on suits but we cant even have that, I get you guys want us to buy as many pitcoins as possible so you guys can make a bunch of money BUT YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE MORE PROFIT OFF OF THE GAMES IF YOU PUT BASIC THINGS INTO THE GAME THAT PEOPLE ACUTALLY WANT!!!!! That’s all I’ve gotta say for now and I honestly think the dev’s underestimate how good this franchise could be if they implemented simple features that people have been begging for for years, but somehow you guys always end up making the same game every year and can’t even drop last gen consoles for a 2024 game!! However I have no idea how “game-changing” f124 is gonna be this year but I honestly doubt it’s going to be much 🙄1.7KViews12likes5CommentsWhere are all the helmets and liveries?
Where are all the helmet and liveries? We’ve been charged £89.99 for the Champions Edition to find just ONE helmet, glove, suit and car livery in the base game. This makes starting a new ‘My Team’ game really underwhelming. The whole point of the mode is to create your own team with your own customised identity. Go to an online lobby and everyone has the same car livery! Id say it was pure greed to lock them behind a paywall, but even the store is empty!! Just 3 terrible helmet designs in the store, but you can choose from about 30 pairs of shoes… Are more going to be added? I’d have been annoyed if we just got the same copy and paste designs from the last few games, but to have completely removed them all is a new level of ridiculous. Beyond disappointing to be charged a PREMIUM price for this game with so much content removed from last year… The whole marketing around pre-ordering was focused on getting some liveries for the game you were about to uninstall, only to load up the new game and get nothing!! Whichever genius on the team that came up with that idea has no place in game development!2.2KViews11likes12CommentsF1® 24 [Megathread] Handling Feedback
Hello everyone, We've created this mega-thread to collect some more handling feedback. Please share your thoughts with us but keep it handling-related. It would also be helpful if you could be as specific as possible and include on what platform you are playing. Your feedback was beneficial during the Beta Weekends and we would appreciate it if you continue providing it during the game launch. We appreciate your input, and thank you for all your passion! Happy racing! -GroguetSolvedEA_Groguet9 months agoCommunity Manager7.1KViews11likes207CommentsPatch 1.7 ruined handling for controller players
I decided to make this a post on its own, separate from the main handling feedback post, as for me it absolutely deserves attention! The newly released patch 1.7 has now completely broken the handling physics for the controller player in my personal experience. The controller handling was so much better in 1.6. How on earth is this supposed to be an improvement for controller players? It's now much worse! It feels like I have automatic steering assist on all the time. The front end feels totally wrong. It feels like it's almost double turning. There is a complete lack of smoothness and liniartty to the steering. I'm sticking with F123 until this is completely reworked!IanM2827 months agoSeasoned Ace1.8KViews11likes49CommentsRadio improvements
Hi again, I think some info that are typically requested by drivers or directly calculated by engineers could be added: - first of all “if I pit now what position do I fall into? In front/behind who and by how many seconds”, this may be easily given by adding an average pit stop time - “what is driverX's pace”? Often you are matching an opponent in the race, for example you are 7 s. ahead of him, he goes into the pit. You need to know his pace to understand if you can cover or overcut is already done I will add more as soon as they come to mind 🙂Nuvolarix11 months agoSeasoned Ace434Views11likes6CommentsF1® 24 Q&A - Casey Ringley (Sr Game Designer - Lead Vehicle Handling)
Hello drivers! We hope you are very excited for the upcoming F1® 24 game! Last week we released the F1® 24 Reveal Trailer and today we have revealed our F1®️ 24 Dynamic Handling article. There are a lot of exciting things happening, and to keep the wheels going we are going to host a Q&A with Casey Ringley [ @cm_caseyringley ] (Sr. Game Designer - Lead Vehicle Handling)! Here's a little bit from him! "My background and education is in mechanical engineering, where I had planned to get into motorsport chassis design. When starting university, some very smart people in the industry advised me to learn everything I could about simulation engineering as it was the future of the sport. I found the best way to do this was creating mods for sims like EA’s F1 2002 which led to a career in game design. Feels like I’ve come full circle now that 20 years later, I have joined the Codemasters F1 team. I am excited for you to try the new handling when the game is out, in the meantime, happy to answer your question." Please, post your questions below and we'll collect them during the week for Casey to answer. He'll get through as many as he can! Before starting, here are some quick guidelines: One post, one question. Try to limit yourself to a question per post, as it will be easier to collect them. The focus of this Q&A is on the game Physics and Handling. If you have a question about soundtracks or other aspects of the game, it is probable that Casey doesn't have the answer for you. There are some things he cannot answer, such is the nature of game development. Remember the Closed Beta is under NDA. Please refrain from asking any questions regarding the Closed Beta. You can throw in some fun questions too! Favourite cars, F1 memories, F1 pilots... As always, keep things fun, fair and respectful. Thank you in advance for submitting questions and taking part! We hope to bring you more in the future and look forward to chatting with you all!EA_Groguet10 months agoCommunity Manager4.4KViews11likes62CommentsJOIN THE F1®️ GRID FOR THE SEASON START BY PRE-ORDERING F1®️ 24, COMING MAY 31ST

As I said at the announcement of trailer 24 the game as said by Gillon is a complete flop.... made for pad it is purely arcade taking advantage of our passion and squandering 90 euros continuously copying and pasting a drifting game...... have the humility to say that there are more failures than successes and give up the license rights.Solved2.7KViews10likes100CommentsCLASSIC CARS, TRACKS
I hope ea ,codies didn't make mistake again... classic cars should be in f1 24 and tracks that we want to see turkey istanbul park mugello hockenheim they should give as f1 old bolides the fastest ones.. f2004, merc w11...etc I like f1 23 handling model..imagine having w11 with that handling...my god would been awesome people could really re-create ham fastest laps from 2020 season like monza, spa..etc in a BEAST OF A CAR927Views10likes16CommentsSolving Issues F1 24 Beta - I WILL HELP YOU!
For anyone with issues i have some tips 1. Check your spam folders, this shouldn't need to be said but check them if you aint received an email. If nothing, then you haven't got in. Why come to general discussions and complain that you haven't been selected, no one here can help you. Email to EA themselves if you think there is an issue. 2. If you read your email containing the key, it states that the beta will go live on 12/04/24. Why do you think anyone here can help you get even earlier access to the beta? No one can, because it's not LIVE. You wouldn't need to ask questions, or think ''ah mine is broken i can't play the game'' if you just read it properly. 3. ''Failed Validation'' - well done, you didn't read the first pop up when you launch the beta early that tells you that the beta wont be live until tomorrow. You skipped that, tried to get in again and it said failed validation, that is because it's not live. I hope this post gets some upvotes so people maybe just read the title, and then read this and stop asking pointless already answered questions 🙂956Views10likes8Comments[Feedback] F1 24 need more Tracks!
I think I speak for everyone If I say, We need more Tracks. I liked the Idea to add France, China, Portugal to the race calender and maybe remove other tracks. But we need obv. more tracks! There is Hockenheimring Nürburgring Istanbul Malysia Indianapolis and more to create his own race calender in the carrer or co op Carrer mode. P.S I hope the full trailer is coming out soon.1.3KViews10likes16Comments
