Incorrect Playoff Rewards
Edit 26/04: There are reports once more of teams not receiving the correct playoff rewards. If you've encountered this issue, please report it in this thread. FYI: If you reply to this thread, please ensure you follow the guidelines below in order to avoid the thread getting locked - https://answers.ea.com/t5/help/faqpage/faq-category-id/faq-user-guidelines Creating this thread to highlight the significant issues that have plagued the Pro Clubs community during this Season's playoffs. Numerous clubs, including ours, have experienced matches not registering for the playoffs, despite being listed in our calendars. Our team alone had 6 matches go uncounted, a problem echoed by many other clubs reporting at least 5+ matches failing to register. Now that the playoffs have finished, we're seeing that playoff rewards are also bugged. Clubs are being awarded for being "0th", and I'm seeing teams who went 20-0 only being awarded the "Participant" rewards, when they should be receiving the top 1% rewards. A quick glance at this forum or a browse through the r/fifaclubs subreddit reveals a multitude of posts underlining these issues. We urgently request an acknowledgment of these issues from EA. The game mode is now all geared towards the playoffs, so if these issues aren't resolved, it's no longer worth playing. Edit: It appears that there are still ongoing issues, now affecting regular league matches. Numerous reports of matches ending in errors and games not being counted. Still no sign of clubs receiving the correct playoff rewards. Edit2: Matches are now counting again but no confirmation regarding playoff rewards as of yet. I will continue to use this thread in an effort to get further updates regarding these rewards.
Manager Career Mode issues (compiled)
Thought having a compilation thread as such would make it easier for EA (if they can be bothered after spending most of the year fixing/changing/improving Ultimate Team) to review, ones I've picked up so far: Matchday experience: Removing of the pre-match team line ups, cutscenes, music etc Substitute benches should be 9 players, not 7 Wrong manager sometimes being followed on the new Manager Cam New commentary team unavailable in Career Mode Teams always shoot the same way (option to choose needed) Some kits not available in Customise screen (Tottenham 3rd kit for example) Referee POV cam - when red card is issued the referee shows a yellow card AI puts players out of position regularly At half time sometimes there is a cutscene loop which you can't escape so have to restart the game Teams should shoot towards a preferred end in the second half when at home (Chelsea towards 'The Shed', Arsenal towards 'The Clock End', Tottenham towards the 'Park Lane/South Stand' etc etc After match let us see results of other games in the league for longer General: The length of career mode is set too short overall still Date disappeared from main landing page in Career Mode Coaches causing a freeze/crash when fired The training plan (sharpness/fitness) doesn't work well Pre/Post-Match interviews still ask irrelevant questions Manager objectives are unreasonable and unrealistic and can get you fired even when playing well Ten Hag's face is missing despite being in Fifa 23 (Postecoglou face also not real yet but may be as new to Premier League) When winning German Supercup in manager overview it says "final" instead of "winner" The Dutch & Portuguese Supercups are missing (may be others too) Kit sponsors are missing in some countries Supercups are not counted in number of trophies won in Manager Overview Generated youth players have a 2D picture with the wrong kit on Shirt sleeve sponsors incorrect when promoted/relegated in English Premier League/EFL Championship (also when winning cup competitions) PlayStyles too rare on Youth Players (may not be any) "Let the training plan do its work" email comes too regularly and is unnecessary Number of characters available when editing a stadium name has been reduced and is way too low Editing a players sleeve length doesn't always work Create a club - can't use the new kit options in Clubs Create a club - selecting a rival should let you pick from any league, not just the one you start in Players complain about not playing enough when their role is 'Sporadic' Players complain about not playing when they are out injured Loaned in players get constant complaints if they don't play every minute in emails from parent club No option to see how many minutes our loaned out players are getting No option to turn off the objectives as they can ruin the mode Player morale can drop too much in one go from Press Conference answers AI teams should player weakened squads in certain competitions (early rounds of Carabao Cup for example) When simming there seem to be far too many goals late in the game if you start to sim from a comfortable position (ie. 3-0) Youth academy names are way too limited and repetitive Custom tactical visions are penalised permanently Players being subbed late into games handing in transfer requests Two Hummel kits are identical in Create-A-Club No new badges in Create-A-Club and some even removed Option to save an avatar to re-use again in another save Long sleeves don't work on Nike/Puma kits Morale system doesn't work - too many players get unhappy to easily Transfers: Not been improved/changed for years Can be really hard to sell low-rated players when a high rated team No loan options such as mandatory purchases AI making unrealistic transfers regularly After a few seasons AI not signing big enough squads AI sign too many players in the same position Sometimes when offer accepted a random background of the pitch is shown during the cutscene When signing a player it's impossible to negotiate a lower squad role Music cuts out in cutscenes Players signing pre-contracts will join in the winter transfer window (gamebreaker) Skip cutscene for players signing/leaving needs implementing Sign players on one-year contract but can't negotiate another year so teams sign them on pre-contracts and I don't have options During contract renewal, players never want an extension Please do add as many as you can to this thread and I'll try to make an effort to update this if possible!
EA SPORTS FC 24 Career mode Bug
There is a bug in EA Sports FC 24 Manager Career Mode. Under Team Strategy ==> Coach Management, when attempting to Release Coach to make up for a new one I get the prompt (see attached picture) but unable to select Yes or No. I am forced to quit the game and restart multiple times. Hey Everyone, before I start, I'd like to say I have complete respect for all the designers, developers and team behind the game. It takes a lot of time and effort, and years of planning, developing and distribution, for a game that many players take for granted. I've just seen the January Update notes on Trello, and it appears for the second month running Career Mode hasn't had an update to it. Personally, it's sad to see the game's most authentic mode not having much attention paid to it. This is after hundreds of players have made the same complaints about several of the same issues, some of which are game-breaking. To have a simple issue where I can't negotiate my contract or accept the one offered to me not fixed since the game's release, especially after the issue was picked up and passed on to developers months ago, is concerning. Forgive me for a moment, I'm not a developer or games designer, but it doesn't seem to require extensive work to fix this issue. A simple button saying, 'Stay at Club', 'Negotiate Contract', or 'Accept Contract' will do for this issue. I maybe wrong. A vast amount of players around the world invest so much time playing this mode, but to see Career Mode issues unresolved for months especially after it was said it was picked up, then I seriously question is it the World's Game? I had many happy times playing Career Mode in my childhood, and it's a shame that not much attention is being paid to it. I can understand Ultimate Team getting the most attention, as its the games USP, and so it should. But for players who want to immerse themselves into the life of a footballer playing for their favourite clubs, it doesn't seem fair that the mode isn't reaching its potential that we all know it can reach. Once again, I have complete respect for all the designers. As with everything in life, the game will inevitably come across problems and errors that 'eventually' will be resolved. We can be frustrated that the issues affecting us don't get resolved, but the developers and personnel don't deserve the hate and abuse they get, especially Community Managers as it isn't their job to maintain the game. @Paul_LiveOps @Master-Den-01 @EA_LeonSK @EA_rephii @EA_Pulsar, Would it be possible if we could get a reply about any updates being made to Career Mode, it would be greatly appreciated. Where are all of the hairstyles?
I've noticed yet again, just like FIFA 23, there are more and more hairstyles missing in Pro Clubs. The devs claim they want us to have customization freedom yet there are multiple hairstyles only available in Career mode. For example, the mullet was not been in Pro Clubs in FIFA 23, and here we are again with it not being in FC 24. However, it's been in the career mode! Why can't we use all of the hairstyles for all of the game modes??
Player Career Mode Contract Objectives Are Ridiculous
EA, The contract/transfer contract objectives you have set are outrageous. Most of them are simple and should be accomplishable. Examples of this are a striker having to score 10 headed goals in a season or 6 first time shot goals. Not necessarily easy, but doable. Then there are the ones that are just not achievable in my eyes. Examples of this are recording 100+ successful slide tackles in a season as a center back. If you’ve never tried it, it’s incredibly difficult to slide tackle, especially for it to be counted as a successful one, and there is absolutely no way you could hold an average of 3 a game. Another example are the assist requirements. You need record setting assist numbers for a single season just to move to a new club. As an example, I created a striker career. To get a move to Juve on the bare minimum wage, I would have to record 38 assists this season on top of all the other requirements. For Athletics Madrid, it’s 51 assists. Even Leverkusen requires 27. It’s ridiculous and desperately needs to be fixed. All the work you guys did updating the transfer system means nothing if we can’t use it. It makes playing this mode nearly pointless. This issue spans across positions as well as I’ve checked a few of them. Please look into this. Thanks.The game crashes when trying to renew the contract in player career mode.
I've played until the end of the season, got the option to renew the contract, I sign, but when the loading screen for the new season appears the game freezes and crashes. I reloaded the save countless times with the same outcome, it crashed every time. Literally unplayable...
EA FC 24 Created Players in Career mode issue
I created players in game settings and added them in the teams etc., but when I played like a 1 year of the career thy changed appearance, position, rating, etc. and if I want to search for them it shows me two different players wtih the same appearance, but when I click on one it shows me nothing. How can I fix/prevent the player to get changed (appearance, etc.) and have there only the correct one ?Frustrated with Recent Changes to Pregame Presentation in Career Mode
I hope I'm not the only one feeling this way, but I'm seriously frustrated with the recent changes to the pregame presentation in Career Mode. While I appreciate the addition of new cutscenes before the game, I can't help but wonder why they decided to remove some of the essential elements, like showing the lineups and other immersive features that we enjoyed in previous editions. EA Sports has all these fantastic licenses for broadcast packages, music, and more, but it feels like they're not fully utilizing them. It's disappointing to see these assets not being used to enhance the game's presentation.I understand that some players may want a quick entry into the game, and that's fine; they could simply provide an option to skip the elaborate pregame sequences. But for those of us who relish the immersive experience, these changes are a letdown. I'm really hoping that EA Sports takes note of the community's feedback on this issue and considers bringing back some of these beloved features in future updates. It's evident that many of us miss the depth and authenticity that the previous pregame presentation offered. Let's make our voices heard, and hopefully, we can see positive changes on the horizon!
Sign the petition to fix career mode
EA recently removed my last post with the petition on it for apparently spreading a “boycott” or “misuse”. This is not what is happening here, we want our voices to be heard and not ignored like what is happening with career mode. my post or my petition does not violate EA Answers rules or terms and agreement so do not remove it again. If they do try to remove it share the links and post it around the forms. Nothing to play for in Elite Division on pro clubs - WHY?!!
We have just been promoted to Elite Division on EA FC 24 pro clubs and now there is nothing to play for. It says "points required: 0". There is no trophy to win, there is no relegation. We are just stuck in limbo with absolutely nothing to do. Is this some kind of sick joke? RIP Pro Clubs.
Can't find my club on fc24 clubs site
The search on the new site (https://www.ea.com/games/ea-sports-fc/clubs/rankings) isn't working. Instead of actually searching for what was typed, it looks like it's just filtering what is already in the leaderboard table. So, if your club isn't in the top 100, it is impossible to find it and see the stats!
