I'm banned in previous titles, will I be banned In EA SPORTS FC™ 24?
Hey all, Every year around this time we get a deluge of posts looking for clarification on bans and how they work. Here are some more specific answers to other common questions at this time: What bans carry over from title to title? "Device" Bans - is your PC or Console prohibited from connecting to the game regardless of what account you're using? Then it will not be able to connect to EA SPORTS FC™ 24 either. "Franchise" Bans - was your account banned, and now you can't connect to older titles either? This is a "Franchise" ban, and you will not be able to access any future EA SPORTS FC™ title using this account. What doesn't carry over? Coin Distribution Bans - These bans are specific to the title they were "earned" on. A ban for sending coins/receiving coins illegitimately will not mean you are banned in EA SPORTS FC™ 24 Transfer Market Bans - Was your access to the transfer market removed on the Companion App, In-Game or both? This will not affect your EA SPORTS FC™ 24 account. You will potentially need to re-earn access to the transfer market on the Web-/Companion App and will not be eligible for any early web starts. Again, as pointed out earlier in this post if your account is sanctioned by our Terms of Service team at any point you may reach out to them using the steps here for support. To prevent spam and to preserve the boards readability any new threads on this topic will be closed and referred to this post for further information.8.1KViews13likes0CommentsWhat to do if your EA Account has been hacked

If you’re having issues with freezing, glitching, disconnections, or matchmaking in EA SPORTS FC™, try our steps to delete corrupt files. What are corrupt files? EAS FC uses game files that are regularly updated and re-downloaded in the background as you play your game. If something went wrong with these files, you could come across issues with freezing, glitching, disconnections, or matchmaking. One way to address these types of issues is to delete these files. How do I delete corrupt files? From the Main Menu, open Settings and select the Profile tile. Go to Delete to bring up the game's file list. Delete all files except: Online Pro files. Files with Career in the name. These are your saves for these game modes—they won’t be re-downloaded and can’t be restored. You can also delete Personal Settings 1 to fix any audio or visual issues, like glitching, flickering, or loss of sound. Keep in mind that you’ll lose Skill Game progress and your custom controller layout. Only delete this if you’re sure you’re okay with losing these and having to set them again. Log out of the game and re-launch it to see if you’re still having problems.469Views4likes0CommentsEA SPORTS FC 25 | Gameplay Refresh Update
We’re excited to soon release the Gameplay Refresh Update for EA SPORTS FC 25, featuring the most significant mid-season gameplay overhaul we’ve ever made, based on your feedback. With the Gameplay Refresh Update, you can expect to see: Major updates to core gameplay systems like passing, shooting, goalkeeping, and defending. More offensively fluid gameplay enabling you to move the ball easier. Reduced tacklebacks and AI interceptions. Addressed issues like defenders catching up to dribblers too often. Updated Rush Club Search in Football Ultimate Team. Let’s jump straight into the changes we’re making to EA SPORTS FC 25. Defenders Catching Up To Fast Ball Carriers Too Easily Attackers controlling the ball are naturally slower than when they’re at full sprint without the ball, but we’ve seen that defenders can sometimes catch fast-moving ball carriers too quickly. As a result, TU #8 addresses instances of players catching up to the ball carrier despite the ball carrier having much higher Pace Attributes. In practice, this means that it will now be harder for slower defenders to catch up to faster attackers in FC 25. Addressing this issue not only removes a pain point you’ve been telling us about, but it also helps us further focus on providing a more fluid offensive gameplay experience, as detailed throughout this Pitch Notes. Here’s how a defender could have caught up to an attacker before TU #8. And here’s how that same scenario can play out with TU #8, notice how the defender doesn’t catch up to the attacker easily. More Fluid Offensive Positioning And Better Attacking Support We’ve seen your feedback about the balance between how effective attacking and defending feels in EA SPORTS FC 25, so we’ve decided to make some changes to the attacking side of the game to make it more effective and fun: Improved AI teammate attacking run quality when trying to beat the offside line. AI teammates can now better hold their runs when near the line and get back onside more quickly. Increased intelligence of attacking and supporting runs made by AI teammates. Improved effectiveness of Inside and Advance Forwards. They can move farther up the pitch. They can better evaluate when to run into space or occupy a position. Offensive players can now operate in attacking spaces near other attackers instead of stopping their runs. Players are now able to provide quicker support when they are familiar with their Role. To clarify that last point, this does not mean that you will see someone like a CDM all of a sudden become a striker. It means that all Roles are simply faster at performing support tasks like making themselves more open to receive a pass or making a run into space. Overall, these changes are intended to make your team more active when you’re attacking, giving you more options while making attacks feel more fluid and organic at the same time. For example, here’s a situation before TU #8 in which attacking AI teammates did not make any particularly effective runs. And here’s the same situation with TU #8, showing how attacking players can now make more intelligent decisions and runs, potentially leading to a goalscoring situation. Reducing Tacklebacks (Losing The Ball After Your Tackle) Sometimes what feels like a successful tackle results in a tackleback, meaning that the opposing player wins the ball back. It happens in real life on occasion, it happens in video games too, but we’ve seen it happen more often than it should in FC 25, causing unnecessary frustration. As a result, we’re making two changes to reduce how often tacklebacks can occur: Defenders with the Anticipate PlayStyle are now more likely to tackle the ball towards a teammate with more space if stopping the ball in place would be disadvantageous. Improved the quality of touches defenders can make on tackles. Here’s an example of a tackleback situation we’ve addressed. This footage is before TU #8—note how the attacker ends up winning the ball. And here’s how the same situation can play out after TU #8, note that the attacker doesn’t end up winning the ball. In addition, we’re also addressing two issues that could have resulted in tacklebacks: In some cases, the ball carrier could have unintentionally stumbled forward when being tackled, resulting in incorrectly winning the ball back. In some cases, the defender could have stumbled when running towards the ball after a successful tackle rather than gaining possession. As usual, we’ll continue to closely look at your feedback regarding tacklebacks. Improved Goalkeepers For Near Post Shots We’re looking to make goalkeepers more authentic when dealing with near post shots. To start, we’re addressing this issue: Goalkeepers could have sometimes incorrectly stepped away from the near post in tight angle shooting situations. Here’s how this issue looked before TU #8. And here’s how goalkeepers react in the same scenario with the issue addressed in TU #8: At the same time, we’re also making a more general behavior change intended to make goalkeepers more effective at covering near post shots. Goalkeepers will now position themselves slightly closer to the near post. Faster Passing, Balance Changes, And Issues Addressed We want FC 25 to reward intelligent and quick thinking passing plays, so to that end we’re introducing the following combination of changes: Slightly increased speed of normal Ground Passes. Slightly increased accuracy of short Ground Passes to open players. Significantly increased effectiveness of Semi Assisted Through Passes. While some of these changes might sound small in a vacuum, when combined with other passing changes they are designed to enable players to move the ball easier across the pitch. Additionally, we’re tuning the effectiveness of certain passes based on your feedback and how you want the game to be played: Significantly reduced effectiveness of first-time Lofted Through Passes. Significantly increased effectiveness of Semi Assisted Through Passes. Moderately reduced accuracy of headed passes in contested situations. But that’s not all when it comes to Passing, we’re also addressing a number of issues you’ve let us know about: Low powered Ground Passes were sometimes being delivered to farther players than intended. Medium powered passes sometimes focused too much on the player’s aim input instead of the amount of power generated. Addressed some instances where first time passes were less responsive than intended when the input was performed late. Sometimes, free kick passes were not hit towards the intended receiver if the receiver was moving too quickly. More Effective Shooting Inside The Box With TU #8, we want players to feel empowered with their shooting and have the ability to score more goals. So we’re introducing changes aimed at rounding out goalscoring, particularly from inside the box: Increased accuracy and shot speed from inside the box for regular and Finesse shots. Slightly increased accuracy of low difficulty regular and Finesse shots in the box. To clarify the second point, “low difficulty” shots refers to situations made up of many different factors, such as the shooter not being under pressure, the player’s input being accurate and well timed, the shooter having a good quality angle towards the goal like in real life, and so on. You can think of low difficulty shots as the types of shots you would expect your favorite high skilled real world players to make. Now, while we are generally looking to improve goalscoring from inside the box, we also wanted to adjust some tuning around Finesse shots in general. This is because we wanted to lessen the gap between players with high shooting Attributes but no Finesse Shot PlayStyle, and those with the PlayStyle or PlayStyle+. We know there has been some concern that we were planning a wholescale reduction in the Finesse Shot PlayStyle, but this is not the case: Slightly increased the impact of Attributes on the accuracy of Finesse shots taken by players without the Finesse Shot or Finesse Shot+ PlayStyles. We’ve also addressed the following issue: Addressed some instances where first time shots were less responsive than intended when the input was performed late. Defensive Positioning And Behavior We’re also making changes to the defensive side of the game to further encourage players to take direct control of their defensive efforts rather than relying on AI positioning. In Competitive Football Ultimate Team and Online Seasons ruleset matches, AI defenders will mark dribblers less tightly and will be less likely to cover shooting lanes near the edge of the box. Further decreased how often AI players are able to make successful interceptions. At the same time, we of course don’t want to neglect the defensive side of the game, so we’re looking to address a few areas based on your feedback: Defenders will focus more on man marking when defending counter attacks starting from corners. The intent of this change is to provide more effective defensive positioning against counter attacks originating from corners. RM/LM players with the Winger Balanced Role can drop deeper when defending. Falsebacks could stay central for too long when the team lost possession. They will now immediately look to return to their LB/RB positions. Updated Rush Club Search In Football Ultimate Team We want to make it easier for players to search for the right Player Items when putting together their Rush Squad, and to make it easier to hit Rush Point Bonuses. Following a near future Server Release, you’ll be able to search for Player Items simply by selecting the current Rush Point Bonus requirement. For example, if there is a minimum 75 DEF requirement, selecting that will give you 5 search results with applicable Player Items. In cases where you don’t have 5 Player Items that meet such criteria, search results will list your top Player Items instead. For example, if you have 3 eligible Player Items, they’ll show up as search results, and the other 2 would be your top Player Items. Or if you have no eligible Player Items, you’ll just see your top 5 Player Items instead. Of course, you can still do manual searching, and when you enter Rush squad building the default search will focus on the first Rush Point Bonus criteria. Thanks everyone for checking out our Gameplay Refresh Update Pitch Notes. We can’t wait for you to experience all of the new changes in this update and look forward to hearing your feedback. Then take a look at this.
Too often, Career Mode feels lifeless. It’s not about more cutscenes or shiny graphics – it’s about depth, consequence, and connection. Here’s what fans really want – and how EA FC can finally deliver it. 🌍 1. Dynamic Football World & Real Storytelling ✅ What fans want: The world feels dead. No press, no rivalries, no real consequences. 💡 What would fix it: A dynamic news system: transfer rumors, scandals, form slumps, player drama Derbies & rivalries with emotional build-up and crowd energy – affecting morale & momentum Story-driven decision events (e.g. press scandals, broken contracts, dressing room conflict) Dialogue system in press conferences, team meetings, and board talks – with long-term effects 🎯 Result: A living football universe. Your decisions matter. You feel it all. 🧠 2. Deep Managerial & Club Life ✅ What fans want: Right now, you’re just clicking transfers – not managing a real club. 💡 What would fix it: Stadium upgrades, fan engagement, ticket pricing – build your own football empire Advanced academy & scouting system – recruit globally, poach talents, manage relationships Tactical briefings, real training with impact on matchday Club identity system – define your playing philosophy (e.g. Ajax youth-first, Atlético grit), affects transfers, fan patience, and board trust 🎯 Result: You feel like a real manager, not a spreadsheet. 🤖 3. Realistic Player & Transfer Behavior ✅ What fans want: Players feel robotic. Transfers don’t reflect reality. 💡 What would fix it: Players with personalities: loyalists, money-chasers, homesick types, one-club legends Realistic agent & contract drama – power plays, tension, emotional negotiations Transfer dynamics tied to your reputation, league status, and project Organic form & morale system – influenced by fights, favoritism, press interviews, off-field drama 🎯 Result: Transfers feel alive. Your squad has soul. 🤝 4. Career Mode with Co-Op & Rival Managers ✅ What fans want: Solo career gets boring. No sense of rivalry or pressure. 💡 What would fix it: Co-op career with 2–4 friends in a live or asynchronous world AI managers with personality & strategy: Klopp aggressive, Simeone defensive, Mourinho plays mind games Long-term rivalries: manager duels, press taunts, transfer battles, player influence 🎯 Result: Career Mode becomes personal – and competitive. 🧬 5. Player Career with Real RPG Progression ✅ What fans want: Player Career is shallow and forgettable. 💡 What would fix it: Career decisions shape your reputation, endorsements, transfer options, and story Choose your path: “Bad Boy,” “Fan Favorite,” “Superstar,” or “Legend” – each with unique challenges Immersive off-pitch life: agent swaps, family, lifestyle choices, media image Minigames for training camps, rehab systems during injuries, contract disputes and more 🎯 Result: A story worth replaying – and living. 🏁 Final Thought Career Mode doesn’t need gimmicks. It needs a heartbeat. Give us emotion, chaos, growth, and memory – not just menus and results. 🗣️ EA, if you’re serious about making fans happy – give us a Career Mode that lives, breathes, and evolves with us. You’ll create not just a better mode – but a football experience we’ll talk about for years.🎮3mp18mg4s2jgPlace FC 26 General DiscussionFC 26 General DiscussionSeasoned Newcomer26Views4likes0CommentsFootball Ultimate Team™ 25 - FUT IMMORTALS

Local Hero will give you the opportunity to add either the CDM or CAM positions to your player and will take your player to 90 OVR. Two further Objective Groups centered around Rivals and FUT Champions will be released on April 8th. These groups will allow you the opportunity to increase the Skill Moves and Weak Foot ability of your player and apply a maximum of 2 PlayStyle+ to your player. Completing both groups will also take your player from 90 to 92 OVR! Does it matter in what order I apply the consumables? To receive specific PlayStyles and PlayStyle+ for your player, you will need to apply any earned consumables in order of preference. Once the player reached a maximum of 6 regular PlayStyles and 2 PlayStyle+, they will receive no further PlayStyles. The Group Rewards from the Local Hero, Rival Conquerer and Champion Objective Groups will need to be applied in sequence. What are the differences between the CDM or CAM consumables? Each consumable will provide your player with different stat upgrades and roles depending on whether you prefer your midfielder to be more attacking focused or defensive focused. The CAM consumable will offer bigger increases in Shooting, Passing and Dribbling. It will also give Shadow Striker++ and Playmaker++ for the CAM position. The CAM consumable will cap the +15 Pace increase to 88. The CDM consumable will offer bigger increases in Defending and Physical. It will also give Holding++ and Deep Lying Playmaker++ for the CDM position. The CDM consumable will cap the +15 Pace increase to 86. How do I receive three PlayStyle+’s and more PlayStyles for my player? A final evolution will launch on April 11th which will allow you the opportunity to progress your Become Immortal player further! This evolution will let you apply a 3rd PS+ to your player, boost your player to 94 OVR, provide 3 bonus regular PlayStyles (Relentless, Block & Trickster in that order up to a max of 9 regular Playstyles) and receive the Become Immortal ICON shell, with ICON chemistry. I do not have enough FUT Champions points to compete in FUT Champions - how can I receive these upgrade for my player? Launching on April 8th, an Objective Challenge requiring playing two Rivals games will automatically grant you enough points to qualify for FUT Champions. All FUT Champions Objectives can be achieved during both qualifying matches or the finals.582Views4likes1CommentEA SPORTS FC 25 | Live Start Points
We’re excited to be launching Live Start Points in the coming days for EA SPORTS FC 25, enabling you to use and edit real world scenarios across Manager and Player Careers throughout the 2024/2025 season as the beginning of your journey. We first announced Live Start Points in our Deep Dives ahead of FC 25 launch, and in this Pitch Notes we’re going to cover in detail what the in-game experience will be like, so let’s jump right in. What Are Live Start Points? Live Start Points are a new way of experiencing Manager & Player Career, by starting your journey at access points based on real-world events across European league football throughout the 2024/2025 season. Live Start Points The following leagues will have Live Start Points available: The Premier League LALIGA EA SPORTS Serie A Enilive Bundesliga Ligue 1 McDonald’s EFL Championship Barclays Women’s Super League Liga F Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga Arkema Première Ligue Additionally, most cup competitions will be updated to reflect real-life progress, creating more authentic scenarios for your Live Start Points. The covered competitions include domestic cups in England, Italy, Germany, and France, as well as all UEFA competitions in their current formats: UEFA Champions League UEFA Europa League UEFA Europa Conference League UEFA Women's Champions League Multiple Live Start Points will be available when the feature releases, reflecting the real-life progress of these leagues and corresponding to previously played gameweeks. We’ll continue to release Live Start Points throughout the 2024/2025 season. As Live Start Points are released, be on the lookout for Snapshots in the FC 25 Main Menu, showcasing highlights of the featured European leagues’ calendar, whether it’s a showstopper fixture, a derby, a title fight, or a relegation battle. Accessing Snapshots will direct you to the Live Start Points menus by simply clicking “Take me there”. Otherwise, Live Start Points can be accessed when starting a new Career save, as long as you’re online. They’ll reflect the latest results and standings, enabling you to shape how the rest of the season unfolds. When creating a new Manager or Player Career from the FC 25 Main Menu, you'll see a new Live Start Points option, as shown below: Let’s go through the Live Start Points creation experience in both Manager and Player Career. Manager Career Once you’ve selected “Live Start Points”, you’ll be able to select your club from any of the leagues listed above. At the top of your screen you'll see several dates to choose from, enabling you to pick a preferred game week as your Live Start Point. The standings, results, and upcoming fixtures will reflect that point in time, including your club's and rivals' cup progress. It’s then up to you to create your own avatar or choose playing as a real manager, similar to the usual Manager Career experience. We’ve also introduced a squad injury and suspension editor and expanded our injury system to cover more such events in Career Mode. You have the option of viewing, removing, or editing any injuries and suspensions your squad has at that particular moment in time, meaning you can rewrite real narratives by making your players unavailable due to injury or suspension, all before you start your career. For example, who knows how Liverpool’s start to the season would have gone should some of their key players be unavailable? With injury and suspension editing, we want to give you more control over the types of stories that can be created in Career Mode. Once you’re all set up, you can advance to start your career while we load the real-life results and data. You’ll see real-world data coming in on your Career loading screen, as shown below, in the lower part of the screen. At this point you’ll be prompted to create your new Live Start Points save file, and that’s it for setting up your Career Mode journey. You’re now ready to experience a football story unique to you. Player Career Similarly, when creating a New Player Career and selecting Live Start Points, you’ll be prompted with a selection screen as shown below. Pick the team you want to play for, and choose the point in time you want to get involved. Gameweeks are identical across both Manager and Player Careers, as are the results and standings you can start from. You’ll have access to all of the usual Player Career options, from Created Player to Real Players and Icons. Once you’ve decided who you want to play as, start your career while we load up the data and set up the world. Then you’ll be prompted to create your save file and can jump into the action. Thanks for checking out our Live Start Points Pitch Notes! We can’t wait to see what kinds of new stories you’ll be creating in your Career Mode saves. The latest Live Tuning gameplay changes are now available and aim to refresh some of the most common ways EA SPORTS FC 25 is played, based on player feedback. This update includes: Improved jog dribbling responsiveness with the ball. Decreased accuracy of first time Power Shots and contested headers. Here are the changes we made: Players can now make more frequent touches on the ball when jog dribbling. The intent behind this change to enable more responsive turning while on the ball. Considerably reduced accuracy of first time Power Shots. Considerably reduced accuracy of contested headers. Live Tuning enables us to roll out some changes without requiring a full Title Update. This can allow us to make tuning changes faster and with more frequency while working on the balance of the game. In order to ensure this update has been applied, please shut down and relaunch EA SPORTS FC 25 when you see this message in game. Want to provide us direct feedback about EA SPORTS FC 25? This year, the campaign also includes Fantasy Heroes, who will earn upgrades based on their historical club’s performances in their upcoming domestic league matches.
