FC Feedback Report Hey everyone, as part of the new FC Feedback Hub we’ll be keeping you close to our development process with detailed reports, making sure you know what feedback we’re working on. For our first update, we wanted to focus on something we know is important to you: Gameplay Responsiveness. We’ve heard your feedback, and our teams have been working on making EA SPORTS FC 26 our most responsive title yet. In this article, we’ll cover what we’re doing to address your feedback around online responsiveness, and the new additions to FC 26 intended to improve overall gameplay performance. Let’s dive in. Understanding Delay Delay refers to the link between a player's action, like pressing a button or moving a stick, and the corresponding response in the game. Delay can stem from various sources, including online connection quality issues, elevated ping due to distance from an FC Game Data Center, complexities in the input processing and animation systems, or even delays in displays. We know that delay disrupts the seamless connection between the player and the game, making the experience feel unresponsive and frustrating. And let’s face it, when a game doesn’t feel responsive, it’s simply not fun. Addressing your concerns about delay has been a top priority for us as we head into EA SPORTS FC 26 launch. What We’ve Been Testing Our Gameplay Responsiveness testing goes back to 2019, where we ran a number of in-depth tests on infrastructure and player connections, and created tools to help us better understand what you were experiencing. Heading into FC 26, we set our focus on testing directly with FC Design Council members, FC Pro Players, members of our community, and members of our internal teams. For example, members of our development team met directly with FC players in Europe to test gameplay responsiveness on their own personal setups. We tested at their houses and team headquarters in Spain and the UK for extensive online modes research in FC 25. You can see what this looked like below. We’ve also been testing responsiveness with members of our Design Council remotely, collecting connection quality data from players all around the world. And while all of this has been happening, we’ve been running regular tests with a dedicated internal team of core players across our QV and development teams to feedback on responsiveness problems. What We Learned FC players are really good at detecting even the smallest delay issues. Delays of even 1 frame can result in a noticeably unresponsive experience. When diving into the details, we’ve noticed players experience delay in significantly different ways. What you refer to as delay can be experienced in both Offline and Online play, in most cases. When playing with good connection quality, or in offline play, these are the main reasons that can create a sense of gameplay unresponsiveness: Animation Selection Variability to create authenticity Contexts with limited coverage Animation system bugs Time between button press and when the simulation processes the input. In poor connection quality conditions, there are many more variables that could create unresponsive Gameplay. The most common ones include: Ethernet vs WiFi Currently more than half of FC players play online through WiFi. WiFi often introduces serious inconsistencies in connection quality, such as Jitter and Packet loss, which could result in delayed actions in Gameplay. Even WiFi with strong signal strength and high quality signal can create inconsistencies. We recommend always using an ethernet cable when possible for a generally much smoother connection. High Ping Ping measures the time it takes for game data to travel between your console or PC to the EA SPORTS FC™ Game Data Center and back. Lower ping usually means faster data transfer and a more responsive gameplay experience. Your ping can vary based on your internet provider and your physical location, and it is not based strictly on your physical distance from an FC Game Data Center. A close physical distance to our FC Game Data Centers cannot guarantee a low ping experience by default, because factors such as how your internet service provider physically routes traffic can impact your ping. We are always monitoring the performance of our FC Game Data Centers. Working with providers, ISPs and our internal teams to provide the best experience we can to our players around the world. Internet Bandwidth With a low bandwidth internet connection, other activities using the same network can negatively influence game performance. From automatic video uploads from a console to streaming content from other devices, there are many factors that could introduce delay. To learn more about your Connection Quality and how it may be influencing your gameplay experience when playing online in EA SPORTS FC, you can check out our Connection Quality Report. The Connection Quality Report is a tool intended to help you better understand the quality of your connection using data from applicable EA SPORTS FC online matches that you’ve played. How your display FC can also massively impact overall game responsiveness. TV or Monitor Settings A TV outside of Game Mode can introduce anywhere from 20 to over 100ms of delay to the gameplay experience, making it feel like you’re playing in a poor connection environment. We always recommend using Game Mode if available on your TV, or use a gaming monitor. High quality cables can also help reduce how long it takes visual signal to be processed, and third party devices like external capture cards can also add noticeable delay. In broad terms, the speed at which your screen can display the game is critical to the feeling of responsiveness or unresponsiveness. If your display has a noticeable delay or can’t maintain a consistent response time, you may feel a delay no matter what your other conditions are. Different Player Motivations Another important learning is that FC players enjoy both a more responsive and consistent experience, but also a more tactical, composed and authentic experience. We’ve tried to balance a single gameplay experience for both types of motivations in the past, but based on your feedback we’ve decided to tailor the experience separately. In FC 26, we are creating two types of Gameplay, Competitive and Authentic. Competitive Gameplay is tuned for consistent responsiveness, mainly focused on online modes like Ultimate Team and Clubs. Authentic Gameplay is tuned for higher realism and true-to-life match tempo/speed in offline modes, like Career Mode. For both gameplay types, and with your feedback in mind, we’re improving our Fundamentals with the objective to make them more responsive and consistent in FC 26. What’s New For FC 26 Responsiveness As you may have noticed in the FC 26 reveal trailer, we’ve focused on new gameplay fundamentals to improve responsiveness at all levels. We wanted to make sure we directly addressed your feedback and the things we’ve learned through testing to deliver the most impactful changes. Animation variability meant to create authenticity FC strives to visually reflect the real world game, and to make this possible our Gameplay engine was designed to use realistic animations. Realistic motion capture/volumetric animations are all unique by nature. In FC, many factors like ball distance from the player, movement input angle, and player speed will dictate what animation is chosen and how it plays in the game. This combination of factors ensure Gameplay variety, depth and authenticity. In summary, in our gameplay engine, there is variety, and no play is the same. This is to create a seamless, and authentic experience. We are continuing to work on finding the right balance between gameplay animation depth and variety, and consistent expected behaviors, that are always responsive to player input. More details on how we are addressing these problems will be part of the Gameplay Pitch Notes, for example: Animation transitions and branching have been reevaluated and re-tuned across most areas of gameplay to improve consistency and responsiveness. Increased Animation Coverage Animations play an important role for a football game to be authentic. Every year we add new animations to refresh the experience, create variety, and to fill any coverage gaps. Some contexts may have had limited animation coverage in the past. This caused our system to use a longer animation or delay starting an animation while attempting to position the player in a way that would accommodate the best possible animation. We’ve focused on improving the coverage for scenarios where it's reasonable to expect a responsive action. To clarify, we have strict game performance checks that ensure the game runs smoothly regardless of the amount of animations that exist in the database. This year we have added hundreds of new animations meant to enable players to perform actions faster than ever. Addressed Animation System Bugs In some cases, the systems that decide what animations should play can experience bugs. These are arguably the most complicated systems in a Gameplay engine, since they need to solve every combination of player requests with the available animations, while keeping high quality visuals. For example: Expecting the player to get to the ball as early as possible to prevent the opponent getting to it first, but the player taking an inefficient or curved path to the ball that introduces just enough delay for the opponent to win the ball. Expecting an immediate right foot shot to prevent getting tackled, but the player decides to use their left foot instead, delaying the shot for a couple of frames. With a focus on Fundamentals, this year we’ve fixed dozens of problems related to the Animation System and its responsiveness. Time between button press and when our simulation processes the input We looked closely at every stage of the input processing system and identified a few opportunities to improve our input latency. We were able to improve input latency by one frame in some cases of first time passes and shot requests. Combined with the animation improvements mentioned above, these scenarios are more likely to play out as first time passes or shots in FC 26, as opposed to taking a touch that feels unresponsive. We’ve improved our input systems with the aim of ensuring that all inputs are processed immediately. We also improved the responsiveness of the on screen player switch indicator visual feedback, giving the user more immediate feedback on which player they are controlling and allowing for more responsive reactions to the play. We’ll share more about these updates in more detail in our upcoming FC 26 Gameplay Deep Dive, which will be live on July 22. Stay tuned! What’s Next In the lead up to FC 26 launch, we’re continuing to meet with members of our Design Council to help us find additional cases related to gameplay responsiveness. This will remain a priority for our teams to make FC feel more responsive than ever, based on your feedback. Be sure to keep an eye out for more details on FC 26 across our upcoming Deep Dives. Community Feedback Your feedback is extremely helpful for our teams as we continue to prioritize making FC feel responsive and rewarding overall. We want to hear from you. 1- Idea Summary Transform the traditional offline Football Manager career mode into a partially online competitive mode. Players enter a realistic football management world where they sign contracts with real clubs from various global leagues and compete in organized seasonal tournaments. Competition is based on tactical intelligence and skill rather than luck or the strength of a pre-built team. 2- Online Gameplay System Signing coaching contracts with clubs from real leagues. Fair budget distribution based on team strength to ensure balanced competition. Participation in scheduled local and international tournaments. Detailed tactical plans that managers can adjust. Option to play matches manually or let AI simulate based on the tactics. 3- Fairness and Balance No luck factor in contract signings or match results. Budgets are allocated fairly to balance team strengths. Managers are evaluated solely on their technical and tactical performance. 4- Match Scheduling System Each match is scheduled in advance with a fixed date and time. One day before the match, managers can request to play the match manually. If the opponent accepts, the match is played manually; if declined or no response, the match is simulated according to tactics. 5- Realistic Tactical Plans Implementation of strategies like high pressing, organized defense, and intelligent positioning. Adjusting team formations based on player performance and opponent analysis. 6- Fair Dismissal System Dismissals are not based solely on results but also on failure to meet management expectations. Factors such as injury to key players, player expulsions, and selling players due to release clauses are taken into account. The system realistically reflects the actual situation of clubs. 7- Post-Dismissal – Negotiation and Career Future Request a release clause payout: receive financial compensation but remain without a team for a period. Immediate contract termination without compensation: move directly to a new club. Temporary break option: wait for better offers with the possibility of returning as an emergency manager. 8- League Rankings and Career Progression Upon dismissal, offers are presented from clubs and leagues with lower rankings. Repeated success opens opportunities to return to top-tier leagues. The manager’s reputation changes according to results and performance. Future Suggestions Introduce agents for managers. Weekly evaluation systems for managers. Organize group tournaments for managers within the same league. Seasonal updates for coaching contracts and transfer opportunities.80Views3likes4CommentsEA SPORTS FC™ 25 Title Update #18

Hello everyone I will make a suggestion that the demographics of countries populations be better represented in the game. For example, places like Colombia, Ecuador and other South and Central American countries have significant melanated populations. There are also many melanated peoples in Scandinavian countries as well as Middle Eastern and North African countries. More to the point, nearly every country on the planet. These are just examples of things that could be better reflected when scouting in these countries. This is another element that could help make the game more realistic is if everyone in each country can feel represented. I believe that this is an important detail to consider. Also, in international matches, it would be great to see the fans be more reflective of the nations that they represent as well. Please, someone else let me know what you think about this. All the best to everyone!17Views1like3CommentsWill I get early bird ICON if u by EA Play Pro day before early access

The stadium models in-game has long felt outdated and lacking in character and disappoints me every time in the game. Other Premier League Clubs such as Spurs and Liverpool look fantastic, you can see the outside of the stadiums and it looks great other Premier League clubs should get the same attention! Sunderland and Newcastle and other clubs don’t seem to have this attention to detail which is disappointing, especially considering they designed original EA SPORT stadiums using the Stadium of Light model both the Stadium of Light and St James Park have so much more character than the current in game stadium models suggest and show it was used as the old home screens.ConaghODellerPlace FC 26 General DiscussionFC 26 General DiscussionSeasoned Newcomer27Views2likes3CommentsFC 26 Reveal Trailer is out! I've been playing Fifa/FC for many years, and I've noticed a trend that concerns me: the gameplay mechanics are becoming increasingly simplified. Mechanics that once rewarded skill are being replaced by features that remove challenge and execution. Dribbling Dribbling now relies heavily on holding one button (R1) for controlled sprint, allowing players to glide past defenders without needing to learn proper dribbling techniques. In previous games, effective dribbling required mastering traps, feints, short bursts of acceleration, and skill moves. The current system doesn't reward that learning curve, when a single input can be just as effective, it reduces the gap between experienced and new players. It punishes those who took the time to learn the complexity of dribbling and risks alienating the most loyal player base. Tackling Defending feels too automated. I can understand that auto-tackling is useful in certain situations, but players with low standing tackle stats often win the ball just as effectively as those with high stats. Giving the feeling that attributes have less meaning Shooting Outside the box shots, especially trivela and finesse shots are more consistent and dangerous than well-worked chances inside the box. Timed finishing was meant to add depth, but once mastered, it becomes muscle memory rather than a true skill test. Choosing the right shot type in the right moment should matter more than tapping a button twice. The newer free kick system uses a trajectory line showing you exactly where the ball will go. It turns free kicks into something predictable and overly guided. I believe a more natural system, where the players use their own perspective to aim, would be more satisfying and immersive. Gimmick Mechanics Player Lock and Power Shots feel more like gimmicks than skill-based mechanics. Player Lock relies on AI involvement as much as user input, and Power Shots break immersion with unrealistic speed and animation. I feel like past Fifa games would reward you for the time and effort you put in to understand the deeper mechanics. Now it feels like mechanics are simplified to accommodate quick, casual play, which comes at the expense of the skill gap, making high-level mechanics feel irrelevant when low-effort inputs get the same results I'm not sure if everyone would agree, but I wanted to share my thoughts in the hope future iterations of the game consider bringing more depth and skill based mechanics back to the gameplay.36Views0likes3CommentsFc26 manager career mode
In the past fc24 and fc25 training drills and how to get playstyle was temporary or to get playstyle plus must reach 90 overall and it was taking long time, but here comes my idea to get playstyle and playstyle plus First the overall, to add playstyle overall must reach (75) at least, for playstyle+ (83) at least My idea called, the requirements for playstyle and playstyle+ For example : Haaland Current playstyle (Chip Shot+, Acrobatic, PowerHeader) If want to replace powerheader+ with Chip Shot+, it's OK how?? To get PowerHeader+ you need to complete the attributes like (powerheader accuracy, jumping) Focusing on this state, for example to get playstyle plus (Powerheader accuracy 89, Jumping 93) U complete this state now you are read to get Powerheader+ Another example If the player doesn't have playstyle u can add regular playstyle first For example : Calafiori (RB) with no playstyle You want to add Anticipate playstyle, then you need to met the requirements for attributes Anticipate : Stand tackle (84), Defensive Awareness (83), you complete these, u are ready to go Anticipate+ : Stand Tackle (89), Defensive Awareness (88), you complete those, now you ready to get anticipate+ Notes : U Can't add playstyle+ if you don't have regular playstyle, u need first to get regular playstyle How u get it, through Training Drills or Pre-Match Training, instead of getting playstyles temporarily Please EA, add something like that we will be happy309Views1like3CommentsEA SPORTS FC™ 25 Title Update #2

Please add more stadiums for Saudi Pro League clubs in EA SPORTS FC 26. The Saudi League has grown massively and deserves accurate representation in the game. We ask you to add: Kingdom Arena (Al Hilal’s stadium) Al-Awwal Park (Al Nassr’s stadium) Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium (Al Ahli’s stadium) Adding these stadiums is very important for Saudi League fans, especially since Al Hilal, Al Nassr, and Al Ahli are among the biggest clubs in Asia.hcz66z78scvnPlace FC 26 General DiscussionFC 26 General DiscussionSeasoned Newcomer22Views2likes2CommentsAdd VAR

Hi EA Sports FC team and community, I’m really excited for FC 26, but I’d love to see some new features: 1. A true First-Person Camera Mode in Player Career and Be A Pro. The current Pro Camera is limited and doesn’t let us look around freely. A real first-person view would make the game so immersive. 2. An optional full 90-minute match mode for players who want a realistic football experience. 3. Please make sure the game is fully supported on PS4 — many players still use that console and want the best experience possible. Thanks for listening! I hope other fans agree and we can see these in FC 26.25Views1like2CommentsFC 26 Career Mode Suggestions
Hi, this will be quite long, but I think this would elevate the mode and make it much better and more fun. Transfers The transfer system still feels outdated and lacks realism and depth. The ideas below focus on improving that and making the mode more immersive. 1. Negotiation Realism and Depth More dynamic and reactive negotiations: AI responses are still too binary. Players or clubs either accept or reject offers with little nuance. There should be multi-stage negotiations, including counter-offers, future promises (e.g., "crucial role next season"), or delayed decisions (e.g., "The player wants to wait until the end of the season"). Include agents and intermediaries: Introduce agents as a layer in transfer talks. Agents could demand bonuses, sell-on clauses, or contractual guarantees (like a release clause or a specific position promise). Player personality & motives: Not all players are driven purely by salary or team prestige. Some should prioritize playing time, geographical preferences, trophy ambitions, or reuniting with former managers/teammates. 2. Transfer Variety & Market Realism Loan-to-buy and performance-based options: These should be more impactful and frequent. Right now, most loan deals feel hollow. Add obligations based on appearances, team results, or player form. Buy-and-loan: We need to be able to buy a player from a club and let them keep him on loan for 6 months or a year. Realistic transfer market behavior: Mid-table or lower-tier clubs making 100M+ signings breaks immersion. AI teams should follow realistic financial and squad-building logic, with board approval and budget constraints visible during negotiations. 3. Scouting and Transfer Targets Smarter and more in-depth scouting reports: Scouts often recommend unrealistic targets for your club’s level. Allow us to set scouting profiles more clearly (e.g., "U23 CM with <€20M value from South America"). Transfer target logic for AI clubs: Too often, AI clubs sign too many players or let key ones go for cheap. AI logic should respect squad roles, depth, and form more and actually do proper squad-building. Competition for players: Add active competition from rival clubs, where a target may lean toward your offer or another club based on multiple factors like salary, role, or team performance. 4. User Interface and Presentation Revamped negotiation cutscenes: The cutscenes feel repetitive and lifeless. Add meaningful dialogue choices, more visual diversity (e.g., office, lounge, deadline-day scenes), and real-time feedback on the negotiation process. Deadline Day improvements: Make deadline day feel like deadline day: dynamic ticker updates, AI clubs making panic buys, rumors, and even last-minute hijacks. 5. Player Morale and Transfer Impact Squad reaction to signings or departures: Bringing in a rival for a player’s position should affect morale. Selling a fan favorite should affect locker room mood unless justified (e.g., too old, underperforming). Locker room dynamics in transfers: Add elements like player cliques, preferred nationalities, or locker room leaders that influence the success of a new signing’s integration. To sum ts up: The transfer system in Career Mode needs an upgrade. Adding depth, emotion, logic, and variety to the system will make playing it feel more immersive, and a lot more fun. Team Management and Morale A football club is more than just tactics and transfers. It needs to feel more real and more human, not just menus and numbers. 1. Revamp the Morale System Proper Pre-Season: Pick a destination to go to, organize friendlies, mini-tournaments with clubs, increase popularity in said country, maybe even team-building activities for the team (in the form of cutscenes) that boost morale, happiness etc. Team Building activities: To double down on that, they could be very useful even outside of the pre-season, but during the season in cases where the team's morale has dropped due to form, league position and other factors. Some activities, going to a restaurant, organizing a BBQ and etc, could be a quick way to boost morale. You could even implement a manager personal life system, where you pay for those things out of your own paycheck. Make morale more dynamic and impactful: Right now, morale only changes through generic press conferences or match performance. It should be influenced by training intensity, squad role fulfillment, team results, dressing room relationships, and even club objectives. Visible morale trends & player psychology: Let us see morale graphs over time, short-term vs long-term happiness, and emotional traits (e.g., "resilient," "insecure," "leader" etc) that affect how players react to setbacks or being benched. More player feedback: Add regular in-game messages or meetings from players (or their agents) about morale, similar to Football Manager. E.g., “I’ve been playing well but haven’t started lately. I need an explanation.” 2. Squad Hierarchy and Locker Room Atmosphere Introduce a squad hierarchy system: Like seen in some other management sims, introduce clear tiers of influence. Like leaders, core players, team players, new signings, and prospects. The influence of a player should affect morale swings and locker room cohesion. Team chemistry and cliques: Players from the same nationality, academy background, or past teams may form cliques. Friction or synergy between cliques could influence team chemistry, especially after major transfers or leadership changes. Conflict management: Introduce small internal disputes like players arguing over playing time, leadership battles, or dissatisfaction with team tactics. The manager should be able to intervene through dialogue choices or disciplinary actions. 3. Training and Player Development Training impact on morale and fatigue: Training sessions should affect both match sharpness and player happiness. Overtraining should lead to fatigue or minor injuries, while undertraining might affect development and morale. Individual development paths: Add clearer player goals, e.g., "wants to become a regular starter in 2 seasons," or "aims to play for national team." Tailoring development plans to their goals could boost morale or growth speed. Mentorship programs: Allow experienced players to mentor young talents, speeding development and improving morale. E.g., pairing a veteran CB with a young prospect could unlock faster progression and stronger chemistry. 4. Club Atmosphere and Form Momentum and morale swings: A string of wins should create a positive vibe that lifts the whole squad. Conversely, a poor run should generate pressure from the media, the board, and inside the locker room. Press conference impact expanded: Press interactions feel shallow. Tie them more directly into player-specific morale. If you back a struggling player in public, it should increase his morale (or create resentment in others if undeserved). Fan and board pressure systems: Let the manager feel pressure from the fans (e.g., trending hashtags or crowd reactions) and board politics. Selling a fan-favorite or playing ultra-defensive at home could trigger backlash even if results are acceptable. 5. Matchday Management and Squad Roles Player reaction to tactical decisions: Players should react to being subbed early, being played out of position, or sitting on the bench in crucial matches. Consistent misuse should lower morale and loyalty. More impactful squad roles: Squad roles should go beyond "crucial/rotation." Add flexible roles like "Impact Sub," "Development Project," or "Club Leader." Their expectations and morale sensitivity should align with their defined role. We can't have every 80 rated player we sign expect to be "important" or "crucial" and outright denying a lower role like "rotation". It needs to be more realistic than that based on the squad and club size, as well as depth. It could also tie in with the suggestion about player-specific goals like to become a starter in 1-2 years. To sum it up: Team management in Career Mode needs to move beyond just menus. FC 26 needs to focus on the emotional aspect of leading a club and everything that comes with it like conflicts, personalities, momentum, pressure, and chemistry. All that affects how the team performs, and having more control over those things would most definitely make the game more fun. I know the main focus has never been on Career Mode, but these things could make it amazing to play. Thanks for reading, if anyone even made it to here. I will add more things if I think of anything. 🤠 Discord is: @havokfr60Views3likes2Commentssuggestions and ideas
