Don Frye Pride 21, where art thou?
Hi, I can't for the life of me find the new Don Frye(Pride 21 Don). I managed to find the first one and buy him successfully earlier in the in-game store. But this version of Don Frye I cannot find anywhere. Not in Xbox store nor in the in-game store. I play on Xbox Series X. Attached is a screenshot of said version I am wanting to buy. I have 2 accounts both div 16. 58-44 (+14) on 1555 points on one acc and 78-66 (+12) on 1517 points on the other but my mate who is 64-69 (-5) is div 16 on 1511 points then my other mate is 61-63 (-2) and in div 12 on 1168 points????? ik you do get more for fighting people with higher div and less for lower div but should be fighting people in the exact same div as me. Game doesn’t even make sense, opponents make grey screen so you have to quit and take the loss which is honestly a lot of crap which has been reported a million times over the 2 years this games been out. Worst devs to exist.
Fair play for making the game etc but come on so many complaints and nothing changes. Make a new game and disappear of the scene. We all saw merab outstrike Yan but Yan was picking his shots and doing damage (UFC 323) but I cant do it when someone over throws by 50 and lands like 10 more strikes, don’t matter what round. the game is literally unplayable almost, earn nothing 10-20 if that for being a 5 star against a 4 and half star but then lose 20+ when the guy knew how to play aswell which clearly shows ranking system or damage system is 💩. THE GAME IS LITERALLY SPAM TO WIN, SPAM UPPERCUTS TO BREAK BLOCK THEN YOU COUNTER TO THE BODY AND DOES NOTHING AT ALL. Had someone with no stamina at all and was still throwing 3 piece combos and doing damage but I can’t do anything with full stamina or a 5 star ilia. Just punching a boxing bag half the time it’s honestly so stupid. Royval vs Royval (same fight the guy had no stamina but was throwing 3 piece combos) 56 landed and 56 missed and 39/74 sig strikes to his 57 landed strikes and 165 missed strikes plus 35/100 sig strikes. Rnd 2 my 36 landed to 108 missed and 26/71 sig strikes and he had 26 landed and 92 missed and 22/66 sig strikes (so he did get the better of me by a tiny little bit). Rnd 3 my 15 landed to 41 missed and 13/23 sig strikes to his 8 landed strikes and 33 missed with 5/20 sig strikes. 7-6 stuns to me, 2-0 body events to me, 6-5 kds to me. 78/168 sig strikes and 107/261 total to his 62/196 sig strikes and 91/ 290 total strikes. So reality is he was getting damage/stuns etc for overthrowing. Have a photo aswell. 267 Yan vs Font somehow the kickboxer 4 or 4 and half star has quicker hands then a 5 star Yan to the point couldn’t do anything because of the range etc get close and delivers so slow I get caught with a 267 Yan. Have a video of the fight aswell. the fact someone went toe to toe in damage with same fighter when he missed 199 strikes to my 154 is honestly a joke and should mean no one can get a KO within 40-50 strikes don’t matter what fighter they are. Then I get KOd by Islam in 44 total strikes unsure how many sig but dudes only TKOd volk and he wobbled him via headkick when Ilia put Volk out stiff cold with a punch. go look at my previous posts about damage not being dealt when I’m 5 star Ilia aswell. These games are honestly horrible. When my mate first got the game he didn’t know anything other then just simple punch etc and was walking right through my 20+ leg kicks with Pereira against Strickland. Which is honestly so disgusting to see because pereira gets people panicking after a few if not 1 leg kick irl. every time I verse MVP I get kept at bay from his jab but then I use him verse my mate and he’s just walking right through it and hooking me etc which again is another joke. GAME NEEDS TO BE WAY MORE REALISTIC WITH THE STRIKES IN GENERAL JABS TO BODY/LEG STRIKES. UFC 6 better be free or a major step up because it LOOKS the same as UFC 5 from the leaks but can’t tell until it is out to be fair. UFC 4 and 5 both weren’t worth $100+ NZD. This game has the worst peer to peer connection. It's the game and everybody is experiencing this. You guys need better servers. They are unstable which makes denying transitions takedowns impossible. Please fix this issue. And when are we going to fix the white screen glitch? Is anybody listening to us? Right now the meta is to abuse the side-step feature to nerf opps combos while waiting for a block counter to drop your opp, them immediately posture stack guard for a finish. This is very low level gameplay and make for a terrible experience as you can just abuse this across all with all divisions especially when using a tall fighter with good blocking stats. I believe the side-step is a good feature for avoiding kicks but shouldn’t avoid boxing combos realistically. This would also prevent people abusing it for every combo with no penalty to your nerf power. I also believe the stack guard posture up should be removed all together. It’s a dumb position that takes no skill or timing to acquire in-game but gives the fighter on top nearly ten free punches. In real life fights this position can only be achieved when the fighter on bottom accepts it and choses to block instead of moving ie. Stipe vs Overeem Last feature I see being abused are the block counters. I understand why this feature was out in for the boxing fans but this move does not work in MMA because the glove size is too small. It’s simply doesn’t make sense in mma and has never been used effectively in mma, for these reasons I especially don’t think they should cause three rocks a fight because it can be used to counter so many different attacks. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a block counter to the body in mma but it is the main tool used to defend the body in UFC 5. I just reached div 20 in ranked mma but did not get the accolade to put on your playercard. When i saw i did not get it i thought maby i need div 20 in stand and bang to (wich i never play) so i did, i got div 20 there to, but still no accolade. Is this a bug with the new fight week update. Not long since started playing UFC 5 but have noticed when playing online against other players my character seems to be really slow and keep getting momentary freezes in matches, I seem to take ridiculous damage from shots I don't even see rendered on screen and it's so sluggish to play. My internet is fine I have 1 gig speeds, NAT is open no issues with Xbox multiplayer and speed test etc. seems to be the players I am fighting against or net code issues. Game is a genuine joke.
I get KOd from 36 of 118 sig and 74 of 221 total strikes landed on me and I landed 33 of 74 sig and 62 of 133 total strikes in a featherweight fight but then I land 71 of 146 sig and 94 of 219 total strikes to someone’s 44 of 126 sig and 97 of 269 total strikes and lose on scorecards in welterweight fight? I get KOd when I land roughly the same and threw way less then switch it up and go land 2x more sig strikes then other guy and cant KO him in a heavier weight where the punches SHOULD be doing more damage? I actually don’t get it, this game is like a raffle just picks and chooses who deals damage, the power etc shouldn’t even matter in this case either when I’m landing 28 sig strikes more and threw 20 more??? Honestly go fix the game because it’s absolutely trash and has no skill to win. Lost on both ends which i genuinely just don’t get. UFC 6 will be the same thing I bet. Just don’t get how I get KOd from 3|44 difference sig strikes and 12|88 in FW but i cant KO with 28|20 sig strikes difference and 3|50 total strikes difference in WW. Actual explain that to anyone??? Shouldn’t I have got a KO in the FW fight and Not the WW one? Games so weird honestly. Spam to win. Clear that im losing stamina for overthrowing in a WW fight less then what that FW fight had but no KO in either or? Doesn’t make sense to me but yall wanna have a ranked mode. It’s like in the FW fight the total strikes were doing more then the sig and in the welter the sigs were actually doing there job yet he also threw more total then the FW fight. 🤷🏻♂️🤬 do better EA seriously because in my eyes if a HW and FLYW versed in this game the Heavyweight would do more damage, can overthrow and not gas out??? Anyone else notice that before the most recent fighter update everything was smoother and fluid? Shots were accurate and connected at the right range, maybe even when opponent is slightly out of range. Jabs and straights were connecting but now the latest update just before fight week made everything slow. Not only that but I noticed punches use up more stamina and stamina recovers slower. I’ve played every single UFC game the same way with the same caf year after year I mainly played (fight now & career mode). I see that the game keeps getting updated with new fighters and micro transaction cosmetics. With this being said why are cafs still not able to choose fit kits??? Cafs don’t even have corner color tape on gloves….
