I think there should be more focus on the CAF and offline career mode here are things I feel would help Customizable Shorts, Edit moves, customizable attributes, Make Career mode fighters available in play now, Alter ego eras for career mode fighters after fights in career mode, We should have pres conferences where you answer a series of questions after fights, Speeches after fights, more improvements to fighting in the clinch and standing grappling moves overallRage quitters
Can EA actually get off there **bleep** and fix this BS I'm sick of people quitting half my fights are people who quitting because they loss and I've messaged people telling them to be a good sport and not to ruin the game by rage quitting only to be reported via PlayStation then banned from communicating features for 2 weeksUfc5 is dead
Fighters completely outdated in style and/or stats (Pimblett, Hooker, Neal, etc.), lots of good fighters missing (1/3 of the heavyweights, Bahamondes, Dawson, Zalal, De Ridder, Guskov, etc.), shorts that haven't been used for six months, fighters who are 10 cm shorter than their actual height (Spivac, etc.). I really liked this game, but I'm not enjoying it anymore. It's dead and too disconnected from the current UFC. It's clear it's a 2023 game, and you stopped working on it six months ago to let it die. Like many, I'm quitting UFC 5 and waiting for UFC 6.Online Sucks
Am I the only one who is noticing their loses are almost 3x what their wins are? Now I know I suck and it's bc I just started playing but why would EA keep putting me up against difficult opponents. They claim they have skill based matches but there is no way they think I can fight these guys when I only won 1 out of the 5 placement matches.Join an online game and it freezes
I join an online game, we both select a fighter then while loading into the fight it just freezes. Three times today it has happened to me in a ranked game. This isn’t the first time it’s happened, I first experienced this months ago and it still hasn’t been fixed.
Criticism of UFC Career Mode (EA Sports UFC)
The career mode feels repetitive and lacks variety. Every new character you create goes through almost the exact same story with little to no variation. There is no real consequence system. For example, if you win a fight respectfully, some fighters still become rivals or enemies without reason, which breaks immersion. Rivals or allies don't behave consistently with how the relationship is developed. Even if you build a positive connection, they randomly turn hostile after a fight. You can’t hold multiple titles across different weight classes, which limits long-term goals. There are no branching storylines or decision-based outcomes. Your choices don’t impact rivalries, friendships, or how your path unfolds. Interactions outside the octagon (like press conferences or training dynamics) are shallow and repetitive. The game lacks depth compared to other franchises like WWE games, which offer dynamic storytelling, multiple paths, and control over character relationships. The system feels like it's in a beta phase, missing the polish and narrative complexity players expect. It's demotivating to create new characters when you know the experience will be identical each time. I hope in the next ufc game you handle it better, its sucks, when i have a perfekt match without dmg, and get minus 2% in the Carrier mode, how long i cam fight.Referee ALWAYS in the way
As long as I can remember, just about every time I get a super cool or brutal knock out herb dean is ALWAYS in the way blocking me from seeing my opponent falling down unconscious. I played UFC 5 on Xbox for months and had obtained several variants of fighters. I migrated to Playstation and wanted to know if I can recover my progress. I want to recover the fighters that I had already unlocked. Is this possible?
