Re: [Xbox] PvZ GW2 Unable To Equip Citron Overheat Upgrade

This seems like when you first unlocked the upgrade the lag in the match interfered with the game giving you the upgrade, i don't know if it's possible to get the upgrade back without manually modifying your save data which is already very complicated to do on consoles. Not sure if this can be fixed from happening again because it was due to lag from the host of that lobby, and because there isn't a proper team for fixing bugs and adding content for this game anymore.

I got a question though. Is your party citron past advanced level 9 now, and still doesn't have the overheat upgrade?

    Yes my Party Citron is beyond advanced Lvl 9 I got him to the next promotion and haven't touched him since cause of well he needs that upgrade to be good I just wished there was a way to fix it on console granted I know stupid old game but still, I would think if I level him up more I'd get it again but I already know that isn't gonna happen

    @NooTTWI3ULTUR3 Wait I wouldn't have thought you could modify the save data at least on console and I wouldn't think it be possible cause of anticheat protocol

    @skycaboose55 You cannot alter them on Xbox. With this one, the only real way to get that resolved would be to get everything synced up with the servers. OR, have the ability to gain it again which sadly isn't possible.

    There are steps I can send you. No guarantee they will work but if you would like to try, let me know!

    @skycaboose55  It is possible but its unrealistic cause it takes a lot of effort to do on consoles, and only GW2 on PC has the anti-cheat, so i don't think that would be a viable option to get the upgrade back sadly.

    @EA_Shepard Yes I would like to try the steps for the chance of it fixing the issue (hopefully it will work and not corrupt any other data)

    @skycaboose55 

     Xbox Series X

    • Quit all running Apps (For Series X|S consoles)
    • Remove any connected device, or additional USBs from the console then restart the Xbox and check for updates
    • Try the steps in our Connection and Advance Connection Guides
    • Open you're Xbox NAT Type
    • Change DNS settings (You can use the public Google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4) 

    Persistent Storage

    • Go to settings > Select Device & Connections > Then Blue-Ray
    • Select Persistent Storage > Clear Persistent Storage

    Alternate Mac:

    • Go to settings > Select General  > Then Network settings
    • Go to advanced settings > Alternate Mac address > Select clear
    • Select restart

    Once the basics are done you have a few options:

    • Uninstall the game
    • Log out of your Xbox profile
    • Log back in
    • Redownload game

    @skycaboose55 I am asking about it but bottom line this may be an issue that cannot be resolved as there isn't a way to fix one character like that.

    @EA_Shepard And I doubt you could take control of my account go into the code for Party Citron and tell it to unlock the Overheat Upgrade (i know what i basically said is hack/mod my account though i know im probably wording it wrong and i dont have the resources nor know how to do myself plus like you said it's not really possible on Xbox but you guys made/produced the game i figured you'd have a little bit more freedom to do that) and that's sad if that can't really happen cause that upgrade is a make or break for that entire character and I do like the weirdly purple orange i was planning on making him 1 of my main citrons since I know he's basically a direct upgrade compared to the normal Citron does the same damage has same speed has same health but has the Legendary mode on top and that upgrade is vital to making him a good character I just wish you could fix it

    Did you ever find a way to fix my account cause I still need that upgrade to come back and like I said before I wish I could just give you access to my account and change it from there, I could to continue leveling up Party Citron but seeings how an upgrade never gets unlocked twice I doubt that'll work but this issue still needs to get fixed somehow
