Blue screen of death on launch

Hello! My problem is as follows:

I recently downloaded KotFe or patch 4.0 on my laptop, and it took a while to be sure. After it all finished loading, i attempted to log in... only to receive a blue screen of death.

I've tried looking for other programs that might've caused it, but didn't find any.

My processor is the AMD A6-4455M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 2.10 GHz

One thing to note - i tried installing the game again, and the problem persisted. However, the launcher changed back into the old, 3.0 launcher. Now the news don't fit on it. And the "Repair Installation" isn't available on it, nor was it available on the old one.

Please resolve this issue! I am still able to play the game normally on my other computer, but i need this laptop as well!

Your most likely using the streaming launcher which is why you cannot repair.  For the streaming launcher:

Streaming launcher - If the letters "ST" is present, close the launcher, right mouse click on the game shortcut, select open file location and delete the BitRaider folder. Then start the launcher.

Worse case scenario switch to the non streaming launcher:

NOTE this is a complete download of the game again

right mouse click on game shortcut and select open file location

open the launcher.settings file in notepad and locate the below line and edit to the below

    , "PatchingMode": "{ \"swtor\": \"SSN\" }"
    , "bitraider_disable": true

    SAVE the changes.

Delete the BitRaider, Movie and Asset folders then start the launcher.

BSODs are invariably a low level driver / hardware issue , use this initially to have a look at the crash logs to see if it gives any indication.

Can take the system to a clean boot and see if it persists , just remember to return to normal boot after , or selectively add things per the guide if it stops the BSOD to narrow down (if it helps).

Edit - if using Bitraider you will need to leave these services enabled

Post a dxdiag as well just for info on hardware etc
