Re: Empty Server List
It found Mozilla Firefox was infected with a trojan. My wife just informed me of that. She said Malewarebytes uninstalled Firefox and then she reinstalled Firefox and Malewarebytes didn't find anything after that.

Yes we do run Covenant Eyes.
It needs to be uninstalled for now , it is crashing and maybe the cause of this authServer.exe
Need to work out why these are continual crashes , you can see the crashes in the reliability log file you provided.

Maybe worth opening a command prompt as administrator and type
sfc /scannow
see if it finds anything
While trying to uninstall CE, we are getting the following error message:
Installscript setup launcher unicode has stopped working
See if can uninstall under a clean boot per this link
Otherwise may be best to discuss this with covenenteyes http://www.covenanteyes.com/support-articles/why-cant-i-generate-an-uninstall-code/
I was able to uninstall CE under a clean boot. I then ran that sfc scan, and have attached the CBS file.
That has repaired heaps
When you run it now does it say all is good or does it say it cant repair items ?
It says it did not find any integrity violations.
For now monitor the reliability report over the next few days and see if the errors like with authServer.exe have stopped.
Good news! SWTOR works again! So does GOG Galaxy!
I will continue to monitor my reliability report. I'll also reinstall CE and see if I have any problems after I do that.
Thank you for all your help proxos!
Just to continue giving information, it does seem that Covenant Eyes is responsible for the issues. After I reinstalled it, I actually experienced even more issues than before. Not only did SWTOR stop working again, but I was unable to access certain webpages, but could access others just fine. The CE service isn't supposed to block content, it's only supposed to report activity.
My guess is, since this all started with the forced windows update, that CE is causing conflicts with the new windows updates. We plan on contacting their tech support tomorrow to try to work through the issues.
Thanks again for your help.
