@Natasha9872 This sounds like a controller connection issue. Try plugging your controller into your console to see if there is improvement.
A controller help page is here: PS4 Dualshock 4 Wireless Troubleshooting. This page also has directions for resetting your controller, which you should also try if the wired connection did not help. The page also has a fix and replace link if neither work for you.
It's not a controller issue at all. My controller is connected to the system, as well as being disconnected, has been reset and reconnected & works fine for every other game I play on my system. The spinning got worse after this last update. My controller is not broken & it's not a connection issue....this has been a complaint since 2020 for PS4 users, so I won't accept that response as a solution!
I dont have a keyboard and/or mouse for my PS4, so thats not feasible.
