Re: My sim won't play the guitar

With the 50/50 method you can.

Put half of the CC/mods back and test the game, keep splitting until you find the broken CC/mods (which could be multiple).

Those that are broken, either find a new version of it (contact the maker or look it up online again) or delete it.

So yesterday I kept dividing my folders and seeing what the problem was and I deleted a few mods whilst I saw them appear by chance after wanting to delete them for a while and so I was seeing if the very last folder had the problem in to see what it was and it worked fine, so I must've deleted the problem by chance. Anyway everything's fine now, thanks for the help 🙂

  • Hey! I have the same problem but way too many mods to sift out through 50/50. I was hoping you might know which mod(s) were causing the problem for you?

You need to get used to check which of your Mods needs updating. It may just be one now but next time the game is updated it might be 2-3 or more.

If you want to play with Mods and CC it is up to you to keep them updated.

Hi, I had the same problem and was dreading the 50-50 thing then I remembered I had downloaded some mods to make my sims autonomously play instruments. I did a search and sure enough, I had 4. When I started up again I could play the organ FINALLY!

Maybe autonomous mods don't agree with the game or maybe you have the same mods!

    Anywho hope it helped 🙂
