hello, just for more information, when you examine the pets as a vet was there a pop up on the left side that gives you an indicator of things you require to do until you have enough to cure them? for ex, "check mouth" you can discover they have bad breath "check ears" you discover they might have high temperature. once you do a few of these, there will be an option for a cure, either a spray or a medicated treat or refer the pet to a operation machine. As far as i know the vet can't bill owners until their pets is at least examine at the exam table & given some kind of cure, even if it is the wrong cure & the pet is still sick after.
When it comes to other employees the higher their vet skill the more chance they can cure pets without you having to interject or help, the reason they stop might be because their vet skill is not high enough, you need to make sure to get them training everyday when they come to work so that they go to training after work & gain vet skill the next day.
I haven't played the vet clinic with low level vet skill with my employees, i always open the vet, set clinic to not receive customers then click all my vet to train them then close the vet again & keep doing that until all my employees have full vet skill.(this will take a couple of days of opening & closing the vet just for the purpose of training) once all of them have full vet skill then i open the clinic to finally get customers. you spend a lot more money this way before you actually earn since you keep training all your vet employees so make sure you have enough if you want to try this method. this might also be good to try to see if there is any change in your sims actions when it comes to examining pets.
It might be good also to try the vet again without any cc or mods to see if there is any change, sometimes mods & cc can effect game play
The training of your cat might have to go to a different tread since it seems like a different bug to this one but sometimes if you don't catch them at the right moment, the cat doesn't register it at all & ignore you, it might be just this rather that a glitch because when they ignore you the relationship won't be effected. it takes me days to train my cat off counters, since it continued to jump across one to the other & you can't scold them unless they jump down, as when the cat is on the counter it can't receive scolding it will tell the cat to jump down but if you don't catch them right at that moment the cat will jump up on the counter again & you can't scold them if this happen. so you have to be at the right moment. This might just be whats happening to you, i could be wrong, this is just my personal experience with training my cat in game.
