Game wont start

sd006​  Malwarebytes isn't usually an issue, but just in case, you can try pausing its real-time scanning, temporarily of course, and repairing the game (again, if you have already).

If that doesn't help, delete the Bin folder in [install location]\The Sims 4\Game and repair again.  You'll need to close the EA App and kill the EABackgroundService in the Task Manager's background processes list in order to be able to delete the folder.

The Sims 4 errors in your dxdiag point to a component of the newest VC++ runtimes, but these days, the issue is more typically something else using the runtimes, for example bad custom content.  So if the above doesn't help, and you removed your mods but not your cc, please remove the entire Mods folder.

puzzlezaddict​ I tried deleting the Bin folder, and while it was able to be deleted it was through Steam, not the EA app. And I wasn't given the option to repair the game through EA, and I'm not sure if this issue is correlated to me deleting the Bin folder, but I haven't been able to open Steam since deleting said folder. I also should have been more clear in my original post, but I did delete all mods and custom content.

puzzlezaddict​ So I tried what you said and tried to verify the integrity of the game files on steam and the same error code is still showing up.

sd006​  Steam itself should open fine with the Bin folder deleted.  If it's still not working, please restart your computer and try again.

In Steam, the repair option is called "Verify integrity of the game files" and is under Properties > Installed Files.  It's the same as an EA App repair.

puzzlezaddict​ after restarting my computer I was able to get steam to open, and verify the integrity of the game files again. I'm still unable to get the sims 4 to load. I'm also still not getting the option to repair via the EA app 

sd006​  Again, you can only repair a Steam install in Steam.

What happens now if you try to play Sims 4?  Are you getting the same error, or a different one, or none at all?  I'd also like to see any new system errors related to your trying to launch the game.  Click Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day.  Today is on the right.

Look for an error that happened at exactly the time of your most recent attempt to open Sims 4.  If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here.  If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.

puzzlezaddict​ I ended up fixing the problem! I narrowed it down to a file that I needed to restart my computer in safe mode to delete. Thank you very much for the help, I appreciate that you walked me through this.
