Re: Sims 4 not working with BT headset

@Bubleh  The Realtek audio driver is crashing over and over and probably causing the game to lock up.  It's also probably why the Bluetooth devices aren't working.  Unfortunately, Acer doesn't offer a newer driver for your laptop, although you could let Windows find one for you.  First though, try playing in a clean boot, in case something else is conflicting.

If that doesn't help, try updating the relevant device drivers.  Hit Windows key-X and select the Device Manager, open the "Audio inputs and outputs" section, click on each device in turn, and click the green and black Update icon at the top of the screen.  Repeat for the "Bluetooth" and "Sound, video and game controllers" sections.

@puzzlezaddict Thank you for the answer. I will try this solution, if it wont work I will try to ask Windows if they have any suggestions.

If nothing goes, I guess there is not much I can do 🙂

Thank you again for the rapid answer and the probable solutiont. Wont be able to do it tonight, but I'll give an update as soon as I can.

    Try this:

Settings / System / Sound / Sound Control Panel / Communications / Set to “Do nothing”
