@agathe1312 This error when running DISM suggests some system corruption. Because it could be a fluke, feel free to try again; it might work this time around. Otherwise, it's a problem that's more significant than what you're seeing with Sims 4.
There are some intermediate steps you could try, but I would suggest going right to a malware scan, just to be safe. I'm not saying your computer has a virus, only that it's a possibility worth investigating. Download Malwarebytes (the free trial is fine) from here:
https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download
Open it, click Scan > Custom Scan > Configure Scan, check all the boxes both for all scan types and for your C drive, and let it do its job. This could take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours, depending on the amount of data and whether the scan finds anything., so you may want to set it to run while you're doing something else. Please attach its report so I can take a look.
Next, please run a repair install of Windows. Here's how:
https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/16397-repair-install-windows-10-place-upgrade.html
This shouldn't delete any of your data, but if you get to step 13 and are NOT asked to keep personal files and apps, back out and start over.
Hello again, I scanned my computer with malwarebytes and this was the result (file attached).
I'm relatively surprised to have this many results as I scan my computer every couple of weeks with windows defender.
Also, the report is in french, I couldn't figure out how to change the default language, I hope it's not an issue.
Thank you
(with the file this time, sorry)
@agathe1312 It looks like everything Malwarebytes found is related to either BitTorrent or something called RiskWare, from System Requirements Lab. I don't know whether you installed and later uninstalled these programs, and Malwarebytes found leftover junk data; or you never wanted them in the first place, and they came with a bundle or some pop-up you inadvertently clicked. Regardless, I don't see any reason for further concern.
Now that you've done this, I would suggest running the repair install and again trying DISM. You don't actually need to run DISM or sfc after a successful repair install in terms of the health of your system, but it's a useful test to make sure the previous error has been resolved.
Once you've done that, try again to play, and if Sims 4 still doesn't work, please post a new dxdiag.
