@LtHitlis okay let's correct a couple of YOUR mistakes....
1) the xim DOES trick your controller into thinking your USING a controller. Otherwise you would have not need to use an input adapter since both consoles support mk
- The xim apex actually CAN do things your standard controller CANT do such as run scripts
- It's pretty evident from FORTNITE that the xim and like adapters DO trick the system based on the fact that you load into a CONTROLLER lobby when using a xim.
- If you attempt to play fortnite by loading up with a controller and then SWITCH to mk you will get NO response from your mk and " input blocked" will appear on you screen. Because it reads it as a mk. This is NOT the case with a xim because the console is tricked into believing the commands are being sent via controller where they are actually being sent through the controller
2) it is cheating.
https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-US/home/staysafe#topic2
If you were to click on the link above you will notice there is a line about using unauthorized software...which is what the xim does. The software in the xim changes mk input to controller input
3)it is ruining the game because more and more people are having unfair experiences due to cheating xim users who need a mechanical advantage. This doesn't even touch on the fact that if xim weren't controlled console would lose sales due to players switching to pc. If I have to play against mk users anyway why not just a buy an equally price pc that performs twice as well when built specifically for gaming and would STILL offer me more versatility than console
4)maybe they're not garbage against their peers but they sure as * have a mechanical advantage over every single player they play against.
5) if the game doesn't support mk then it's because they didn't want it too. You don't get to just say "* it I'll bypass it with an adapter"....this is 2019. If they had wanted it to be mk functional on console than it would be. But console games are played with CONTROLLERS...and have been since 1972!
SIDE NOTE FOR YA...Microsoft recently helped fortnite to BLOCK adapter use

Ive seen a lot of Anti Xim posts over the last 10 years and congratulations you win the most incorrect post of them all. I truly don’t know where to begin. I understand you don’t like mouse and keyboard playing on console. But, that is not a reason to put out wrong information. So let’s begin.
1. The Xim does not “trick” anything. Understand the setup. A keyboard and mouse plug into the Xim thru a 3 port USB hub. The 3rd slot is connecting a Xbox controller thru it’s micro USB cable. So basically the movement created from the mouse and keyboard are sent thru the controller. Which to make a long explanation short is done on purpose to make sure the actual movements sent to the Xbox is thru the controller. This is where “the haters” say it “tricks” the console. What it’s actually doing is making sure that only movement limits that the controller can create is actually transferred to the console. Sure a m/k sensitivity can be set extremely high but once it hits the controller limits the Xim itself will actually flash to show the user that he has reached the movement caps of the controller.
2. Understand the simple thing that the turn speeds, movement speed, whether it’s hip, or ADS (Aiming Down Scope) is set by the individual game developers. NO device (Xim, Keymander,.....) no controller (Standard, Elite) can bypass the games programmed turn speeds. So understand that using a keyboard and mouse does NOT make you turn faster! It simply makes it easier to controller at the higher in game sensitivity settings.
3. These reasons are why it is not a violation of any TOS (Terms Of Service) of Microsoft. Understand there are a lot of controllers, devices, hardware that is NOT made by Microsoft that works on an Xbox. From standard controllers to steering wheel controllers for driving games, to headphones. Saying a third party produced device like the Xim that works with xbox is a violation of the TOS is no different then saying a pair of Turtlebeach headphones that works with Xbox is a violation of the TOS policy.
4. I can only speak for the Xim products on this topic since it’s the only one I’ve used. The Xim has software that you use via any smart device or PC. Via the software you set your keyboard and mouse buttons to match whatever ones you want them to control on the actual controller (X,Y,A,B....). It also allows you to adjust the mouse movement sensitivity (NOT the in game sensitivity.) IT DOES NOT ALLOW creating any combination of buttons to the push of a single button, other wise known as a script. Xim manufactures have explained that would be a simple programmable feature, but, since that would be a violation of the TOS they will not allow it on the Xim.
5. The only thing I saw in your post that was correct was when you said “this is 2019”. Technology advances thank god. Or we would still be using an 8 directional Atari controller. Microsoft enable Mouse and Keyboard support for the Xbox One in their November update. Now understand this, it is up to the individual game developers to include “Native” support for their individual games. So far those that are already including it are: Fortnite, Bomber Crew, Deep Rock Galactic, Minecraft, Strange Brigade, Warframe, Vermintide 2, War Thunder, and X-Morph Defense. So, you saying “console games are played with CONTROLLERS” is simply an outdated and incorrect statement.
6. Mic drop!
