Re: Error launching the game - insufficient memory

Fixed the issue. Apparently the game wants to use the Intel IGP which only had a maximum of 512MB RAM while the game requires at least 1GB. I had tried disabling it from device manager but it looks like it was not enough so I had to boot to UEFI to disable the IGP and made sure that default graphics is set to PEG. Game launches after the changes.


Note to devs: please be more specific with your error messages and / or provide us an easier way to look at logs.

    Issue is back today. Confirmed there is only one display driver showing. Tried several stuff but eventually got it to work after updating the Nvidia display drivers to the latest available driver released Feb 4

    Annnndd.. it's back! When I got in I got that issue where it could not connect to EA servers. I had to restart PC and when I tried relaunching it, I'm back to the same insufficient error message.

    This has got to be the buggiest game I had encountered. I could not even get to the main screen.

    Finally nailed down the culprit - Minerva Armor -- supposed to protect from the meltdown/spectre vulnerability. Once I kill the process, the game launches with no issues!

    Thank you so much for sharing your solution! The "insufficient memory" error was driving me nuts as I know that my computer exceeds the game's minimum requirements. Minerva Armor was really the culprit!
