Sorry to say @hgfanta but there is nothing that we can do in relation to issues with a purchase from a retailer.

I'd recommend checking the platform that the code is for @hgfanta. Different platforms and consoles have different codes with varying numbers.

I'm pretty sure that Xbox does 25-character codes @hgfanta.

If it is only 10 then it may be for another platform.

Hey @hgfanta if you purchased the item on the wrong console then no you will not be able to use it on your Xbox account.

If it's a PC code, it could also be one for Steam and not the EA app.
