- @NaRnIaaa “ long and hard aren't the same lol” Seriously... you baiting me with such an easy one? xD
Not even gonna do it since it’s so obvious xD... - E9ine_AC5 years agoHero+@NaRnIaaa So you are saying your liable to leave the game because there are weekly challenges? That complete themself with simply playing?
You do not remotely have to do 1 challenge to complete this thing. That is on the user to determine if they wanna level it fast or long and slow which is what you seem to prefer. - @NaRnIaaa You don't have to play everyday. You could play twice a week and get this done.
- @NaRnIaaa Look, you can't really complain if Apex isn't your main game. I am sure your Fortnite BP is complete? :D
@E9ine_ACi'm saying it takes too much time, 50k for a level is way too much
@hayhornot true, i tried and 2x a week aren't enough
@BaldWraithSimpit's week 2 or 3 on fn, if you try to troll, at least do it smartly
@pastaclown"Players like me who used to power through 12 levels in 2 days then ignore Apex for the rest of the week, now have to open up Apex every single day to spread the work out across the week." exactly, that's why i don't bother anymore, i'm not coming back to apex unless they revert it
- E9ine_AC5 years agoHero+@NaRnIaaa It doesnt take long you are just trying to be lazy to be honest. You want a easy mode done. work for what you want. It does not take long whats so ever nor is it way to much of a grind. Have you even tried? Or you just here complaining about a system you have not even attempted? Cause those of us who thought it would be a huge grind was quickly proven wrong just by us doing it and seeing it our self.
No one can force you to stay but the system was already reverted in some aspects. The game will not mind losing 1 player because they choose to not do something soo simple. Ive watch a 9 year old nearly complete his pass with only 3 hours allowed to play. Yet its too much for you? this kid goes to school every day with only 3 hours of play time a day. Yet is almost done. Stop making excuses for lazy game play. @E9ine_AC"work for what you want" it's a game, not work, it's suppposed to be fun instead of grindy and yes, i've tried (been playing since day 1)
and yes, 3h a day is a lot, almost a part time job lol
- E9ine_AC5 years agoHero+@NaRnIaaa If you have actually been playing from day 1 then you would know exactly how easy this is to level. 3 hours a day is nothing for most players. Even if being 30 mins here and there each day up to 3 hours.
The comparison of a job is odd. You are not working. You are sitting on your butt playing a game completing the battle pass without even trying. Everyone does this very thing. I know only few people who actually focus on challenges to actually level the pass.
The challenges come and go as you play. Get 5 knocks with crypto example. Someone took your main you didn't notice you got put on crypto. You have completed crypto challenge without even knowing its there if have not looked. This is how most of us complete the pass quickly. We just play and just so happens at times we don't get our main we complete a challenge on someone not our main. They are crazy easy to finish. lol @E9ine_ACdo you have fun playing (for hours) a character that you don't like? and 3h isn't nothing, especially everyday
- E9ine_AC5 years agoHero+@NaRnIaaa Nope its why i play Wraith for every single game and have finished it last week. Not sure where the argument is. =P
- @NaRnIaaa You dont need to play 3 hours daily to finish this. There are people on here who are almost done who dont do that. You are literally the only one still complaining about the pass.
@hayhorapparently, i'm not the only one
@JonStriker126"With this system, every time I have a match and I don't get something done for a challenge, I just feel like I'm wasting my time" exactly !
@pastaclown"Plus if you've grown disenchanted with playing through crappy hit-reg / audio / SBMM / net-code / server stability / quality of teammate like I have, playing the game is no longer fun, it's more of a chore."
@E9ine_ACeverybody plays several games, you're not paid by respawn or ea, so why do you try to be faithful to them wtf?
- @NaRnIaaa Dailies take like 2 games to complete. 10 free bp levels should cover a lot of days missed, so even if you dont play every day or play only a few games a day, you should still finish it. Also if the bp is shorter to complete it is easier, so the length and challenge are deeply connected here.
- @NaRnIaaa If you play twice a week, then why even bother buying the BP, cuz even in the former seasons, playing twice a week wouldn't get you near lvl 100.
- @NaRnIaaa My point was the BP issue hadnt been brought up in weeks. Clearly people are doing it without issue.
- @hayhor
I do wonder if that will change though. Because, let's say we go into season 8 with no changes to the battle pass system. That would mean, we would be going into the current system we have now, but we wouldn't have a double XP week and we wouldn't have 10 free battle pass levels. I wonder if people will feel the same way about this current system, when we don't have those things in place.
I guess only really time will tell there. That is of course assuming they don't make any changes to the battle pass system between now and the start of season 8 - @JonStriker126 The free 10 levels wont mean much to someone like me. All they did was make up for harder challenges the first couple of weeks. So if the first 2 weeks of season 8 are like they have been I'll have the levels anyway. Double xp should be something they do randomly once or twice a season I think.
I didn't buy the BP this season so far, and I likely won't. I'm at ~Lvl 50, and I don't think there's a realistic chance of finishing it. Didn't finish the previous one either. Relationship, work, and other commitments don't leave me thaaat much pure solo entertainment time, and between movies, shows, books, and other games (none with a BP), Apex kind of struggles to stay a main priority these days. It is actually kind of liberating not to worry about the BP.
The Dailies are admittedly easier to do than ever, but I sure do miss the 'Complete 5/10 Dailies' feature, and the 9k/18k/etc progression model. It at least felt easier to take bigger steps forward with fewer sessions in the past.
- E9ine_AC5 years agoHero+@NaRnIaaa I dont have to be paid by a company to state facts that a majority on this very topic agrees that it is not hard at all even for casual players. I just cant grasp the train of through when there are more people on this topic explaining how easy it actually is. Yet the 3 who say its not. I don't guess much more can really be said. Some yall just want Fortnite easy game.
@E9ine_ACever wondered why fortnite is 5x more popular than apex?
btw, i don't think most casual players care about this forum, that's why not many posters agree with me/disagree with you
- @NaRnIaaa Yeah, Fortnite is very popular among kids/teens so it has higher player count. 🙂
@BaldWraithSimp I like fortnite too, except I don't do the building bit, and I'm over 50😃
- @OldTreeCreeper Nothing wrong with adults playing Fortnite. We don't judge!! xD
- @BaldWraithSimp I do judge! @OldTreeCreeper, you just want multiple kinds od thick leaves to hide in!
@OldTreeCreeper
Oh, God, The building stuff is why I couldn't play that game.
Honestly, until sometime last year, I believe, I avoided Fortnite because I just didn't really think I'd like any sort of BR game. But, eventually curiosity got the best of me, and I figured I would try to see what all the hype was about. I lasted one match. I didn't mind the gameplay so much, as far as the shooting and stuff, but the building aspect was a complete turn off. After that, I promptly deleted it for my hard drive and never touched it again.
Although, it is good to know that I don't mind the battle royale genre (obviously not, because I'm on here talking about and playing Apex). It just turns out I don't like a lot of the popular ones these days. I tried Fortnite, it was horrible. I tried PUBG, that was also horrible. And don't even get me started on CoD. Lol.Honestly, for all it's bumps and bruises, I am happy I found Apex. It was cool to find a battle royale that actually resonated with me, after trying so many of them that just did not appeal to me. turns out I don't have an issue with the genre, just how most companies approach it lol
