Charge rifle is the best floor sniper there is. Pretty much free red evo.

- @Biochemikas It does like no damage. Compared to any other sniper that do like 100 damage
It does 90 damage at pretty much any range and it's pretty much impossible to miss the shots as it's a hitscan weapon.
In general, I'd say snipers are pretty weak this season, but if I ever use one, it's definitely only CR. Not having a mastif is tough, but there's usually boxes to switch the CR to it for mid-late game, so it's still possible to use it.
P.S. I've actually ran CR+mastif loadouts on octane and it worked pretty well, at least in lower ranks (gold-plat). Wouldn't do it on any other legend though, as you would just die before you can even get to mastif range.
- @RockScorpion384 yes, 90 compared to 100 is barely any dmg.
Hit someone with the big boom for dmg, the small laser only ticks for 3.
slap a 300 zoom scope on it and you can snipe from the moon.
Why you ask.. because it's a hitscan and no it does not need a buff. - @Guiltygear-Z I would like for them to buff the ticks and nerf the boom then. Make it more balanced
- @RockScorpion384 All i can say is learn to aim with it. Then you will change your mind. That gun is toxic has zero verticle drop or rise. It has no recoil compensation. Its a point shoot gun. If you aim for body and they are running and you do not keep that laser firing as they run then yes it will do crap damage. This is where tracking players paths comes into play. You need to think if i was this player running with path would i try taking to avoid being shot. This will allow you some lead room to possibly grant better shots landed. Full head shots that gun can do 160 dmg or more. Body shots is 68 total per beam.
