Re: Loading and compiling shaders

@Crumblingbones For me it only compiled once. I would check your driver's control panel and make sure "Shader cache" is on. And if you have NVIDIA specifically, go to "Adjust image settings with preview" and make sure "Use the advanced 3D image settings" is selected and apply. For AMD do something similar, but I can't tell you exactly I don't have an AMD card. It should still do it after you've done that stuff, but only once.

@Crumblingbones By default NVIDIA sets the "Adjust image settings with preview" section to "Let the 3D application decide", which makes those "Manage 3D settings" options ineffective.

@Crumblingbones Check both options as suggested. If nothing works, there's nothing you can really do. Maybe the shaders will save one of the times.

@Crumblingbones Well if you don't have Shader cache enabled, and don't have the options selected in your control panel to actually use Shader cache; it can say enabled but still not be in use if you don't do as suggested. Then the shaders theoretically won't save, hence why it will compile them again. A game can't force a driver to do something it's set to not do.
