What makes you think that higher ranked games are more controllers? Can you provide a link that shows the input stats?

I ask because the highest form of “ranked” is technically comp (ALGS), and the MAJORITY of players are MnK. So it wouldn’t make sense that Diamond/Master/Pred lobbies are mostly controller but then magically ALGS is mainly MnK.

Controller players are not dominating FPS games at the higher levels. MnK has a much higher skill ceiling and that is absolutely reflected by the presence and success of tournament winners from this and every other game that allows both inputs.

    @Axs5626Sxa5001 ALGS had zero console people make it to Pro league too. So the whole console vs PC thing should be put to bed to me.

    While I'd like to see PC players given the option to shut crossplay off, pointing out differences makes it easy to blame something other than your own gameplay.

    @Axs5626Sxa5001 Only Respawn can provide you with those stats, so no i dont have any stats to back up my claim.

    You just have to spectate the games you die in and you will see that they are controller players (Not all OFC), and yes 50% time i * up or just play bad.

    But still every time i question a down or a kill its almost always a controller/console player thats behind it, and as an old consoleplayer myself i can 100% say that the aimhelp in APEX is faaaaaaaaaaaaaar more OP than in other games.

    Hmm alot of ALGS teams played Hybrid, meaning that they used M&K at start of the game and controller for endgame untill EA banned it for comp.

    That should say something...



    But fact of the matter is still me and many others simply dont want to play against controllerplayers and it should be an option to not have to face them since we are on different inputs with different strengths and weaknesses.

    Yes, playing hybrid tells me that there are some advantages to controller and some advantages to MnK. A few teams right now are trying to incorporate one controller player to their team, for a small edge in close fights. But they aren’t pushing for 2 controller per team because teams realize that puts them at a disadvantage the majority of the game.

    My point is:
    MnK has some perks
    Controller has some perks

    Overall:
    MnK Perks > Controller Perks

    Anyway, you have my support on Crossplay though. Even if MnK is (overall) more advantageous, PC players should have the CHOICE to play with and against who they choose.
