What makes you think that higher ranked games are more controllers? Can you provide a link that shows the input stats?
I ask because the highest form of “ranked” is technically comp (ALGS), and the MAJORITY of players are MnK. So it wouldn’t make sense that Diamond/Master/Pred lobbies are mostly controller but then magically ALGS is mainly MnK.
Controller players are not dominating FPS games at the higher levels. MnK has a much higher skill ceiling and that is absolutely reflected by the presence and success of tournament winners from this and every other game that allows both inputs.
