Re: Emulator for apex legends
@akaAntiSpiral I play on Steam Proton. My machine is running Linux OS (Xubuntu) hence the name. Steam has produced a portable console the Steam Deck runs Apex and many games using the power of Linux OS.
You should be able to get it running on something as low as 8 GB RAM a moderate GPU and CPU i-3 or higher. Xubuntu is a light weight OS, Steam supported, and can be installed to dual boot or in some cases boot Windows from within Linux.
I was able to boot a gaming edition (Sparky: GameOver) on a 3.0 USB thumb drive. Then ran a Windows game from the hard drive. Linux OS operates within the parameters of the EAC, making it a legit usage of this and other games.
Windows 10 & 11 are just fine, assuming you don't mind all the tracking and bloatware included. If you desire to remain with Windows there are options to remove the Microsoft bloatware and tracking. They don't make it easy for you.
EA and Respawn are true heroes offering their products to the Linux online community.
