Re: Device Ban

@zoubedou Moving your post to Apex boards as it was posted on the FIFA section. Generally device bans are permanent yes.

    @chinsrus101 @What’s apex boards? And what determines if I’m going to get account banned or device banned?

    @zoubedouThe different boards are for different games, although there was no mention of apex in your post so idk why it was moved here. Also account bans are for one account on a device that breaks a rule. If multiple accounts from the same device get banned, that could result in a device ban. Also you might get a device ban right away depending on the severity of your rule breaking.

    I’ve only broke the rules on one account, it was boosting. I paid a guy to get me 20 kills and 4K damage badges. I wasn’t aware of what I was doing but I know that’s not an excuse at all. The guy smurfed (jumped off the map to stay in lower leveled lobbies) the account, teamed up in solos to farm damage, and probably some other things that he didn’t told me. Could that lead to a device ban? It’s the only account on which I’ve broken the rules and I’ve been playing legitimately since a very very long time. The incident happened a year ago

    @BigMacAttack8u the boosting was done on his device, so if, in the worst case he cheated on the account, it was done on his device. He broke the rules on his device.

    @zoubedou The account was the same tho, so the account could get banned, and the device of any further incidents, no matter what the first one was on.

    @zoubedou

    Please note that no one here on the forum can help you with account or hardware bans. You will have to contact the Terms of Service team about that via EA help.

    As far as cheating is concerned it doe s not matter who used an account to cheat, the account holder/the account will be held responsible if caught.
