@WhoopFighter Very good post. I agree, these two issues are very big problems with this game. The hit reg is very bad, especially on pc. A whole mag on some guns will only do about 30 or 40 damage most of the time, even if you are close up on an enemy. Some times are better than others where you can get the damage to register, but the last couple seasons have been very bad.

The movement exploits you mention are also a problem. I think this is one reason MnK and controller need separate lobbies on pc. They did ban controller from tap strafing, which was a step in the right direction, but the movement system definitely needs an overhaul.

    I'm kinda tired of exploits in games being called "tech". It can be a good way for ideas to be discovered, but then it has to get officially worked into the game, or removed because it was never intended. I don't think tap strafing should be in the game, at least how it is. Make it a keybinding and a mechanic if it's going to stay. I have to rely on my mouse scroll wheel to work properly? Is my mouse scroll wheel set up properly? How fast I scroll have an effect? Either commit to the idea of keeping it, then make it accessible, or remove. Gotta pick a lane Developers! This ain't it.

    Hit reg is all over the place. The performance of the game fluctuates too much as well. Like it doesn't show frames dropping, but the game stutters so badly at times, enough to throw of my aim, or often times locks me in place. Like the server is trying to keep up with calculations. Some games I'm dropping 4k, while others I can't seem to find people's hit boxes. I find playing at mid range works the best for me regarding the registration and winning more fights. If shots aren't registering, I can at least reset. Up close, it's just so chaotic most times, it's impossible to learn or improve if the game stutters and I die instantly. There's some really horrible desync in this game.

    @WhoopFighter Since they dont seem to address this problem at all i think its a non issue for EA/Respawn ... they can always brush it off as a client problem.
    My mastiff shots register with a maximum of 36 dmg, no matter if its dead center or not ... if the reg at all. whereas everybody else seems to hit me with 90+ every time ... no bad network indicator , ping is always between 9to50ms depending on the server.
    With the lastest news they found out with BO6 and all the weird stuff i have experienced in the past since season 20 im very convinced this is not a client problem on my end.

    @r1ggedgame Exactly. I'm convinced that the guns were nerfed and the damage has been capped at 90 per gun for all non-advantage players. It's cheaters breaking the rules that are killing people with one mag. While I agree it should take more than one mag to get a kill, this needs to apply to everyone and not just those playing without a controller box.

    Tonight I had whole matches where I got zero damage at the end even though I emptied out guns into several players. Mixtape was especially bad since I kept getting one shotted by people using the beam cheat, yet my shots kept doing little to no damage.

    I just hope they fix it soon. The hit reg issue is ruining the game. It should be an equal amount of shots for everyone to make a kill like all other fps games.

    I recently started playing Fortnite, Farlight 84, Strinova, and Star Wars Hunters and it's been refreshing to see how battle royale is when you can play fairly. These games remind me of how apex used to be before season 20. I'd give anything to be able to play apex again and be able to engage in genuine competition. Once in awhile a good lobby will slip by in apex where I can get a few kills, but it's rare. It's making me look forward even more to the day the hit reg problem is fixed, I hope they get it finished soon.
