Yes I know but it's not a solution on my rig as the fps drop under 30 when I am setting the meshes to High.

What is your system specs? Also are you playing it in Origin or standalone?

Bump, I actually would love to have a response on this ^^
Have you tried bringing down the image resoulution scale down a bit to compensate for having meshes on high?
So,
I have this problem, and it's really off putting. This looks like a problem w/ the Specular b/c even in dark areas the hair is SUPER shiny. I also tried the Meshes to High, but it killed the frame rate especially in cutscenes.
Intel I5 QC 2.66
8gb Ram
Windows 8.1 64
Nvidia GTX 560
Playing via Origin. What I'd like to know is if this is a driver issue that's being worked on w/ NVIDIA, or something wrong with the LOD models in game.
I plan on getting a 970, but I'd like to start playing before then!

I have the same issue on a 970X from AMD. This isn't just an NVidia problem. Going to try setting the mesh up and I fear reduced frame rates as well.
