- @whoisdatdat Welcome to the club where we have the same problems. See my posts you find same topic. The problem does not lie on your side, its from EAs end. They have not replied to anything about this fix. I have had several email chats with India support, wich was a waste of time because they just fooled around with linking all kind of solutions that did not work. I was even in contact with microsoft technician and he tried everything on my pc and nothing worked. Even he said this is strictly from EAs end.
- @whoisdatdat If the only problem rght now is that dreaded "Game is running" message on the browser, I'd suggest using a different web browser to launch the game.
For instance, I had trouble with Chrome but fixed it by using Edge instead.
The problem should clear after doing this, then you can go back to your default browser. Having the Same Problem After Moving From Origin To EA App...Since They Dont Reply Much (EA) And Intentionally Broke Origin...Im Guessing They Dont Want To Support BF 3...So I Think The Only Solution Is A Lawsuit Honestly...Its Been Some Time Now They Could Have Already Fixed The Problem...If They Werw Working On It...
When I try and play campaign it asks for administrator perms and when I click yes it just puts me on the EA app and says "This game is already running". I haven't found a single solution yet.
The remedy for "SomeGame already running" issue is:
1) uninstall the EA App and restart PC
2) Delete these folders (AppData is a hidden folder)
C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Local\Electronic Arts
C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Local\EADesktop
C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Local\Origin
3) Reinstall EA app and start it; If not all of your installed games are visible then restart the client - this should populate the list.
Enjoy gaming as usual 🙂
