Request Could Not Be Processed

I've tried to buy a Sims 4 bundle upwards of ten times now and it won't work. I've tried to use three different cards and none of them will work. The cards have been working completely fine up until now so I don't understand what the problem is.

It continuously says that my request could not be processed and that it can't recognise the card so at first I thought it was the card but I've tried THREE SEPERATE CARDS. I just wanna buy some Sims packs😢

Why won't it work? How can I fix this??

    @mikrokoshope 

    Thanks for giving those steps a try! Since that hasn't worked, let me help get you to live support so they can investigate further- on the site here, you'll select EA app as the product, then Manage My Account-> Manage Payment Details and from there you'll see the current available contact options.

    Hi @mikrokoshope,

    Let's see if we can get this error cleared up with the following steps:

    • Try swapping between the Origin store and the website version of the store
    • Disconnect from any VPN you may be using 
    • Make sure your billing details in Origin match the billing details for your card
    • Remove and re-add your payment method from your account
    • Make sure the location on your account matches your real location

    If you still have issues once you've run through these steps, we'll need the live support team to investigate into this a bit further, as we don't have access to review your account details here on the forums. Live support can look into your account and see what's causing this transaction to not go through, you can contact the team by submitting a help request on the site here

    thank you for your reply hahah
    i've never posted on a forum like this before so i think i accidentally posted it under the mac category, i use a windows laptop, so i dont have origin anymore. i use ea player. i don't have any VPN and i shouldn't have any payment method saved, especially not one that isn't one of the cards i tried. i'll double check that and try the online store, though. if ea player even has one hahaha.

    i checked everything that you listened and still nothing. i tried to purchase from the website version of the store and it said the same thing as the app.

    i'm trying to submit a help request but it just keeps directing me to articles that aren't really anything to do with my issue. is there an email i can send this to?? or a phone number??? i'm honestly so confused, i've been playing ts4 actively since 2020 and i have twelve packs and have never run into this issue or anything similar. i can't seem to find anybody else with the same problem, either:/
