Discord Overlay Not Working

Are the EA App and Discord's overlay compatible? If so, how can we display the overlay?

I cannot start the Discord overlay in EA App games, even though they are in the "Registered Games" Discord list with the overlay enabled.

Switching on and off the EA App overlay did not help.
