Re: Sims 3 not working on EA App

HELLO ok so I had the exact same problem and I quite literally tried everything in this thread, even uninstalling sims and the ea app then reinstalling everything again. When I had uninstalled sims 3, I moved all my cc to a separate folder for safe keeping. After installing everything again I tested to see if the game would run before putting my cc back and eureka! The game didn’t bounce back to the ea app and it ran perfectly! 

However, I added my cc back after seeing the game worked and when I ran it again IT WENT BACK TO HAVING THE SAME ISSUE. So! I went through my cc (which for me is all converted to package files) and I found one cc pack that wasn’t. 

After deleting that one file (I did have to go through all of it though to make sure there weren’t any others) AND THEN MY GAME WORKED AGAIN!! So after trying literally everything, it ended up being one cc file that didn’t convert properly! 

I hope this helps anyone if they have also tried everything and don’t feel like uninstalling and installing everything again!
