Re: Will NPC's start a relationship?

Yes!  Some romantic interactions are certainly automatic!  But I wonder if NPCs are programmed not to propose?  Or is it just that they can, but that it is rare?  Or are they proposing, just not to my Sims who are in a relationship with them?  They could be proposing amongst themselves, for all we know! 😃

@PugLove888 It's probably more likely that there is a list of "automatic" interactions somewhere in the game and things like "propose" simply isn't on it.

Well, either way... my point was that I was wondering if this was programmed or not! 😉

@PugLove888 Me too. I'd really like to know what automatic interactions there are. I know the game has a list, I just don't know where it is. There has to be a list or else mods like MCTuner wouldn't work.

@Psychotps, that is what I was wondering... just what is on that list and what isn't!  I don't make CC or Mods, so I have to rely on those that know this kind of stuff. We might find out eventually.

@Psychotps, I remembered to ask someone I know who is more tech savvy than I am who plays the game and they didn't think that Townie NPCs could propose autonomously.  While this isn't a definitve answer, the person does know code , so I assume he has looked into it. If Ihear anything different , I'll let you know. 🙂

@PugLove888 Definitely. I'd love to know. I might research MCTuner in Sims4Studio and see how it works. That's exactly what it does. You add in an exception for an automated interaction and it stops it from running automatically. It must be interacting with that list.
