I just tested it without my mods. And the option to merge/replace popped up. I have no idea where to look for the mod that's interrupting it.
- ginger99332 years agoRising Novice@ginger9933 So this is interesting. I install my mods with Curseforge. And some still needed to be manually updated. On existing saves, there are no options to merge/replace sims. But on new saves, the option is there. So maybe it is a bug.

@ginger9933 Have you tried other existing saves than that pre-made save ?
(with no mods) - ginger99332 years agoRising Novice@crinrict Yes. Same result. No option to merge or replace. It just adds the sims to the current household in CAS.
- crinrict2 years agoHero+@ginger9933 Would you mind sending me one of your save ? Instructions in my signature
- crinrict2 years agoHero+@ginger9933 OK, I see what you mean. I'm not sure if this is a bug either but I think it's been always this way.
For exiting families this option doesn't exist but if you create a new family you can replace them even in existing files. Why don't you delete the families you don't want and then create new ones and add those ?
