First Floor Ignores Foundation Bug. Glass Floor Related.

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.63.134.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansions accept University and Eco. All game packs accept Strangerville and Realm of Magic. Have Stuff Packs Romantic Garden Stuff and Movie Hang Out Stuff.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Move house to new lot. Glass floor related. Similar to this bug report https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/OPEN-IL-Floors-disappearing-on-water-lots-with-glass-floors/m-p/7964479/highlight/true#M92927
What happens when the bug occurs? I moved my sims house to a larger lot (From Newcrest to Del Sol Valley), After moving the lot the game seems to ignore the first floor foundation for objects in the middle of the floor. When the glass floor on the first floor is removed, I am able to place objects where ever they are wanted but I do have glass floors on the 3rd floor and I have not noticed any glitches yet. Note this is very similar to this reported bug https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/OPEN-IL-Floors-disappearing-on-water-lots-with-glass-floors/m-p/7964479/highlight/true#M92927 from almost the exact time last year. I have also experienced seeing the entire world the lot is in after zooming in. By ignoring the foundation I have noticed that the objects I am trying to place drop to the basement below.
What do you expect to see? Being able to use glass floors on the first level and being able to place objects anywhere they are wanted on the foundation (with in normal "laws" of the game). The seeing the entire world by zooming in is not a major issue as it takes effort to make it do so.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

It seems my game is ignoring the foundation on the first floor when glass floors are placed. I found the temporary solution from a post a year ago, but am concerned as it's occurring again.

For now I am able to remove the glass flooring and continue to play. But I would like to be able to put my club with a glass ceiling with a pool above back to it's former glory (or a pool with a glass floor and club below, how ever you see it).

I have provided to image captures. One that shows the object(s) on the foundation wall (showing it in the middle of the floor at the top of the image is useless as it "disappears"). The second image shows the object clearly dropping to the basement below, thanks to the glass floors that are causing the error.

PS. I did use the cheat "bb.moveobjects on", reloading, updating. repairing, clearing lot, re-saving the original lot and other things to try and resolve the error, but the glass floor seems to be the issue.

Ok, I have been trying to replicate this and at this point, I am thoroughly confused by your post and what exactly the problem is.

I built a single floor building on a foundation and put a basement under it and raised the foundation.  Then I put a pool on the first floor in the middle leaving space all the way around.  For the floor I used the Crystal Clear object that came with IL to floor over the bottom of the pool (had to use MOO) and then used the 2 tile double pane windows around the sides of the pool.

    Is this what you did?

In the 1st picture, it looks like you are trying to place the chessboard and chairs in the pool or intersecting the pool wall.  Which the game doesn't allow unless you use MOO.

In the 2nd picture, it looks like the object dropped to the basement while you are on the 1st floor but I can't replicate that. My objects stay on the 1st floor.  I have to drop to the basement to place objects on that level and had no problem doing so.  Everything seems to work fine for me.

So are you saying that objects placed in the area outside the pool on the 1st floor are not placing and dropping through the floor even though you can see the floor?  So the game is acting like there is no floor at all?

If that is the case, you might want to try this.  Click on one of the rooms around the pool.  Then click the floor and see what it says.  If it gives you the option to remove floor, click the X and remove the floor.  Then redraw the walls around the room.  That should replace the floor and the ceiling below.  You'll probably have to redo the wall paint and floor tile but it might fix the issue.

If you don't get the remove floor option, then drop down and select the basement.  Go back up and you should see a yellow outline.  Click on that and you should see remove ceiling.  Click the X and then redraw the wall around the room on the 1st floor.  That should give you the 1st floor floor and the basement ceiling back.

    Hope this helps.
