Re: Controller Prioritize Reload

@S8N_SpawnA quick fix for this would be to look away from the person who is downed and it negates the res effect, also emptying the entire mag forces a reload.

@MoNosDirtyGamingWell, when you're in the middle of a firefight, you kinda don't want to stare at the sky.

I’m not always out of ammo though, most times I’ve just pulled out of a 1v1 with a few bullets left because the trade stopped being worth it. Having reload as priority would do nothing but help, if I’m going through a door and reloading I’m spamming reload so the door opens and closes but I still can’t reload.

  • @S8N_Spawn It can be heavily frustrating; it's because you're staring at the door and the reload button is mapped the same as the action button, it used to happen for me also, just spray off the last few bullets into the wall/floor etc and it'll reload for you.

@MoNosDirtyGaming I get it, that is definitely an option, but then that changes every other instance. Muscle memory kicks in and if unloading a mag to reload was muscle memory, I'd be spraying off rounds for no reason all the time.

I shouldn't have to change the way I play the game because of a simple mechanic they could implement; set prioritization for the interact button. There are so many times where interactions that take priority are the exact opposite of what I want and range from annoying to extremely detrimental.

I've had times using a respawn beacon as cover where I couldn't reload (without unloading a mag) because the beacon thought I wanted to respawn a teammate WHEN THEY WERE ALL ALIVE. So something I can't even do, won't let me reload.
  • @S8N_Spawn At this point there's just so many bugs wrong with the game its just horrible. This indeed does need some sort of fix but I wouldn't keep your fingers crossed since it's been here since season 1.
