@Snow_Shadowz, if it is just the infected townspeople that bother you , once you solve the mystery, are they still a problem? (Sorry, I can't remember since it has been awhile since I've played my Save Game where my Sim has solved the mystery! But If I remember correctly, I think the infected Sims weren't a problem after solved it. 🤔 )
If that is the case, then you can either solve the mystery or if you don't want to go through that you can use a cheat to set the status as solved. This is what Carl's Sims 4 Guide has for setting the story as solved: narrative.start_narrative narrative_strangetown_act4 - Finishes the storyline and makes everyone normal.
So that should make all the Sims not be infected anymore! Just opent he cheat box by pressing "Ctrl +"Shift" + "C" and type narrative.start_narrative narrative_strangetown_act4
And then press "Enter"
You can also make individual Sims not be infected with other cheats. Here are the Strangerville cheats list: https://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/gamepacks/strangerville/cheats.php
This way you can still use all the items you like from the pack without any of the weirdness you don't like! 😇 At least this way you get some of your money's worth out of it! 🙌
But, if you really still want to disable the pack, here are the instructions to do so: https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2017/03/disable-single-packs/
If I'm not mistaken, I think GP07 is the Strangerville GP. And be sure to read everything on this page if you plan on disabling packs! 🤨 I would still try the cheat first and then disable packs as a last resort!
Please update us on how this works for you! 🙂
