Stop talking non sense bro, after killing one team third comes and u have no chance of wining...and is frustating( sometimes fourth fifth...)
Play COD Warzone and u will see u rarely get third party...
Well retreat. And ffs Well u can win every game sometimes you finis in sendwich. There is good reason why i play Al and not warzone. And what is nonsence to you is sence to me. I find 3rd party interesting and strategic sorry if my opinion dont please you.
you can't always retreat. In most cases if you run away you will get shot, cause the enemy has enough time to target you without the pressure beeing attacked. you are a easy target if you run away especially if your shields are down after a fight.
I know it's part of the game, but it's really annoying sometimes, cause it has nothing to do with skill when 9 people fight against each other.
It just luck if you get outta there alive. And in such cases, all of the other debates regarding the TTK and the skill needed is irrelevant...Well it does require a skill to force other groups to engage eachother and you end UP on top. I meen i suck at it. But think thet it wuld turn apex at yust another Boeing fps. Also 3rd party alow People with beter cognitive skill to outplay People with beter manual dexteryty skills. So i wuld no call it skills just diferent skillset
@SueidleThere is no skill when u one shot the remaining players after a fight or in the midlle of a fight ...even if u manage to escape while ur team mate/s are dead the match is compromised.
Everyone wants to get kills without any real effort so they third, fourth, and fifth party with Spitfires then clap for themselves like they have skill.

@garbagebabyyyNo real effort? It is harder to stay alive in a third party at times then it is to hide in the back of the map with no effort. Skill is killing people and living to talk about it. Can you explain your theory on skill? Because its not avoiding engagement.
It takes minimal skill waiting for other teams to fight so you can go in and Spitfire the last men standing. Cheap kills for a cheap win.
"There is no skill when u one shot the remaining players after a fight or in the midlle of a fight ...even if u manage to escape while ur team mate/s are dead the match is compromised."
No the skill comes in when you decide whether you should engage the fight based on how you scoped out the area.
Or if the case is you are looting too long, when to leave.
It is not anyone else's responsibility to help you grow this awareness.
"Can you explain your theory on skill? "
"Skill is what I do. When someone kills me the game is broken and needs to change" :P
It's the same story in every game it is easier to make a post on the forums than actually work to get better.
- "No the skill comes in when you decide whether you should engage the fight based on how you scoped out the area."
Lets say that your squad engages the FIRST team they meet, in les than 30-40 seconds of shooting thirds make their way into the fight....yes you can run when you spot the third party but u can't always run most of the time you just die. Bro I get 3rd partied all the time, 8/10 times they regret it.
When you hear another team come, stop looting and prepare or retreat to better position, it is really not that hard.

"Bro I get 3rd partied all the time, 8/10 times they regret it."
That's because u probably have nothing else to do and play all day long apex...not everyone have that time.So 3rds are frustrating and ruining gaming experience for average players.
Anyways apex will lose so many players when battlefield 2042 will be released...because its a crap game. I do put time into the game, but not all day as you think.
If you don't have time to put into the game, one would think you might listen to someone, on how to deal with things in the game, that puts more time into it.
3rd partying is in the nature of all these games not just this one. Why would anyone want to fight a team on even standing vs a team where they have an advantage? The latter just increases your chances of winning a fight.
How to combat this is to scope out the area, before taking a fight and identify all teams lying in wait if you can. Have an exit strategy from the fight before you engage. Loot quicker after the fight and move. Sometimes you don't get to take your loot if you did not scope well or a team moved in while you were fighting, you need to move, heal up and come back for it.
- @Irres169 It s not that simple with a random team bro....sometimes all lobby same area wtf...
@papawolf4please do not talk in extremes - like every game is either no 3rd party case and you don't get any KP or if you do you get always 3rd partied.
What I see is that everyone in the lobby talks about fast easy KP in the beginning of the game, then maybe 3rd someone and then go to the end zone, which kind of is a fool-proof strategy of gaining RP.
Yet what happens in reality?!
People do not read rotations well and run into sandwiches or can't get out of the ring being gatekept or just purely die from zone damage.
People do not retreat when they still have a way out of the fight because what are we pu#$#%, say and fight like a man!
Many fights are just over-extended - people can't get a good angle or they just struggle to hit shots and they keep poking enemies for minutes, during that time you can easily cover 200+ meters and hear others fight and 3rd party that, if people would commit to quick fights or getting out of them as quickly they would have less risk of getting 3rd partied. But again many don't do that. The worst thing I see in regards to rotating out of the fight are situations where you actually finish a fight somewhat on time, people call out that the 3rd party is coming in but what happens then...teammates keep looting death boxes because you will not leave the good stuff for enemies behind right...and many get lasered while looting or get surrounded badly with no escape route because of looting.
Plus in the end, there are 19! enemy teams, sure thing you will get into 1 vs multiple sooner or later, BR is no exception and before that in FPS games Free for all was even worse there in some games you could have 1 vs 20, 30, 40 people games with constant cases of being cross-fired from all possible sides.
If you don't want to have such experience, go play 1v1 or 1v1 team type of modes. Apex ain't one of them and you just have to learn this skill of navigating between 3rd parties, that's what makes Apex Apex not Warzone, CS or any other FPS shooter.p.s. your mentioned fact that it is not easy with randoms - yes, everyone in Apex who have reached higher ranks knows that the higher you go (starting maybe even from platinum 3,2) the more of a success factor set party becomes = teams who play with the same players on regular basis has so much advantage and usually rank up much faster than people who play with randoms. Again just the specifics of this game which you have to learn to deal with.
It isn't simple I know, it takes objective evaluation of your own play.
A lot of people blame everything else when they lose a fight.
I'm telling you don't do that. Look at every scenario where you lose and say "what could I have done differently to get a better outcome?"
Especially when playing with randoms. My set 3 are long gone, and I am taking a break from this game now, but I did play with a lot of randoms and sometimes you need to make the hard call and do what is right for you when they don't listen or do dumb things.
Just watch your play and ask yourself that and you will see in time you will get better, you will learn from things you didn't even know were wrong.
also side note:
"Anyways apex will lose so many players when battlefield 2042 will be released"
lulz I bet you wish you could have this back? 😛
- @papawolf4 Agreed. 3rd parties are an issue and need to be addressed.
All the people who are saying that its part of the game are likely the ones that do it themselves. They probably cant get any legit kills but have to result to in 3rd partying to kill people who are weak.
Reduce gun sounds! @RockScorpion384 very one-sided argument - looking for a perspective of a "poor" team who gets 3rd partied.
Think from such perspective - will take Ranked as looking at Pub games is like making sense of big bang:
1) matchmaking allocates in one lobby players with similar yet not identical skill levels (some say the gap is way too big) = some players/teams are stronger overall, some are weaker2) some parties are set - pre-made teammates - less risk that one or few players will wander off and die in 1 vs 1/multiple situation
3) there are still technical issues where people get in-game but are AFK / disconnected, leaving their teams at a disadvantage
4) cross-play and aim assist on controller 40-60% as it is rumored = controller player(s) in 1v1 or 3v3 will have slightly less tacking to do vs M&K players
Maybe there are more factors that I did not list, but what I am going towards with all that is that if there would not be an option to get into an already ongoing fight = 3rd party a fight, all fights would be at best 3v3 straight up => you would have a constant chance of 50/50 in theory.
Now add matchmaking, in reality, the situation would be more like - 1-3 teams (pre-made highest-ranked) squads would have close to 100% win chance because they are just better and would win most of their 3v3 no matter how many because they are just the best in the lobby and there are not threats of 3rd party arriving as per you suggestion (or this chance is limited).
Add the above-mentioned cases and teams that have a disadvantage in terms of players getting straight into 2v3 all the way = 100% or close to that to lose every encounter.
Controller players just closing in the distance and outright abuse aim assist over players who are not ideal in tracking, again without risk of being 3rd partied.
Finally reducing the risk of 3rd party, limiting sound in-game also takes away skill gap:
- newbie player sees enemy - shoots right at him vs. a better player who first assesses how many enemies are in the PIO, where are potential other squads, who has an advantage, waits for teammates, focus-fires enemies to end the fight as fast as possible to mitigate 3rd party risk
- newbie player sees wildlife, starts shooting to get loot vs. a better player who evaluates, talks it over with the team, who has what attachments, loot, does the risk of shooting wildlife and making noise is worth it or better remain undetected
- newbie is late for rotation, takes trident, rides away through the map vs. a better player first of all getting rotations correctly but even if stuck in zone evaluates where are crafters, can he remain in the zone while crafting medkits to rotate in really late, is there a way to get heatshields, assesses what are possible routes to take with less noise
- etc.
In the end, even if you take away audio and leave it to say to 200m and teams fight less due to 50/50 chance = you will get competition-style outcome more often than not = zone 3+ has 10+ teams in them and eventually, everyone will 3rd party everyone because they will be in ~200m of each other 🙂
If anything Apex would need to improve the sound in a more directional way - currently it is still hard to detect which level of the map enemy is on e.g. in buildings. Also, I would add more dampening effect for the audio that comes through bigger / solid obstacles e.g. if a fight takes place on the other side of the huge mountain ridge people on the other side should have a limited chance of hearing that, same e.g. if a fight takes place on the other side of a bunker and both doors are close. And vice versa if there are no "solid" obstacles or bunker doors are open, teams should hear gunshots maybe even further away than now.
Ideally eco would come to play meaning that in enclosed places like Checkpoint or caves you would hear enemies even louder, same could apply to Anten with its huge dish-like surface, while in areas like North Pad or Barometer sounds would dissipate faster and would be less accurate, dampened.
