Don't you worry the sims bustin out is surely a classic for sure and TS3 I completely get what you mean! It took forever for my brain to get into it and then when I did it was a madness of getting into then so sims 4 and it’s graphics which was hard but then I can’t live without it now! 

The stories I have made for the Goth Family and the other preset families too such as the Landgraabs are amazing haha the Landgraabs are a family that was in bustin out too but a little different from how they are now, there’s Mimi and Dudley Landgraab which they don’t exist in TS4! 

I love what sims gives me and others like me too! That freedom of RULING THE WORLD! MUHAHAHAHAHA! All jokes aside it was a great game! You also had a shag rug in the game which you could make out on and a vibrating bed which your sim can sleep naked in! 

What families are your favourite and why? Would love to know!

The first "Goth" Sim I remember playing is Rebecca Goth from Sims 3 Pets on XBox 360. She wasn't a playable Sim but you could ask her to join your family (or you could marry her) and play her that way. She had the cutest house in the game :D My Sim lived across the street from her. Rebecca was a bookworm and a loner so mostly she'd just stays inside reading her books but she'd come out a few times a day to play with her cat Buttons. If I remember correctly there was a big haunted house called Goth Manor in town and you could own it for free if your cat completed the "Just Nine Lives to Live" quest-line =^.^=

She looks a lot like one of the Bella’s unless I’m getting confused because it’s has been quite a few years since I’ve played sims 3 on pc.

These are just my personal experiences with the games mentioned as I haven’t played them all  but wishing I had!

So many neat things you've told me about! And the fact that you can rule the world...LOL. I guess all of us here like doing that, don't we? At least the Sims world, any way, because we can't seem to stop playing it! No wonder they go to the computer a lot and play The Sims themselves ha ha.

As far as my favorite family goes, that's such a good question...I'll have to really think it over and get back to you on that one!

It'd be so neat if they added things like that in TS4. Earning things and working for them? That's so cool. The character reminds me of Journey to Batuu though. You can't play a few of those characters, but you can add them to your family which is pretty neat. The only problem I found, though, is that if you change Kylo Ren's outfit and he no longer wears the mask, his voice still sounds like it does when he's wearing the mask, which kind of defeats the purpose of him not wearing it anymore. ☹️ Then if you try and pick one of the standard voices, it doesn't sound right because he sounds way different than he should.

I guess we all do yeah that’s something i have in common with so many people without knowing that’s that I did until this very moment haha 😉☺️😁 I love this place because I can talk to others about sims and know that the people reading are also going to show interest too, like a genuine interest and not a “oh yeah! That’s great I’m glad you like / love that feature or game pack 👍🏻“ 

Exactly we must show a great interest that they are all like OMG I need to get on there for myself! Screw the social sim-teraction (see what’s I did there ? Eh eh?! 😜 i made it so much more cheesy doing that! But I love cheese especially extra mature cheddar!)

OMG how is the journey to batuu?! I soo wanna get it and play it but I don’t have a laptop at the moment because I broke it through simming too much (jk idk why it broke I think it just had enough!)

 I wanna play darth  vadar and make him run while hearing his breathing that would make me laugh 🤣 

I love the idea of being in the Star Wars and making what I want to happen!

@SimmeringPassion The Sims 3 Pets game for XBox 360 (and PS3) is a completely different game than The Sims 3 or the Pets expansion pack for PC. The console version is a stand-alone game with many similarities with Sims 4. It has neighborhoods rather than an open world and "travel" loading screens when you go from one neighborhood to another. It also has color swatches in CAS rather than the Create-A-Style system. There are no expansion packs. So it is a somewhat limited game compared with the PC version, but it was still a very fun game! It has several Quests (one each for cats and dogs, and several for regular Sims), each had many tasks involved with small rewards for completing each task and a big reward at the end. The closest thing I can think of in Sims 4 would be StrangerVille (I don't yet have the Star Wars pack). My favorite quest was the one I previously mentioned, the "Just Nine Lives to Live" quest where your cat wakes up one morning and decides to take over the entire world-- cat-style! In the end, my cat decided world domination was too much work so he settled on finding the most comfortable place in town for taking naps. Typical cat! The Sims 3 Pets for console game is set in a pretty world called Sugar Maple Coast. It's a small coastal town that reminds me very much of Brindleton Bay from the Cats and Dogs EP. I'm not sure where Rebecca Goth fits in the family tree with the rest of the Goths from the other Sims games. The game implies that the Goth family has a very mysterious past :D

Its crazy how two of the same game can vary so much, I love the sound of it though and with Bella’s disappearance maybe that has something to do with it? Does she have a secret daughter out there that she disappeared to look after?

I know, right? I understand what you mean! When you try to talk about The Sims with someone who doesn't actually play the game, it's obvious they're not as interested lol. Which I guess goes with anything, doesn't it? And I definitely did get your joke about the sim-teraction...ha ha ha. 😛

So, unfortunately, I've come to the conclusion that I don't have a favorite family. 🤭 Which is a shame because I've been playing The Sims for so long! Maybe I can come up with some favorite characters, though. 🤔 I'll definitely let you know. I already have one in mind. He's a newer one, though and I forgot his last name. So bad with names...

About Journey to Batuu, it's fun and exciting, BUT...yes, there is a "but" lol. But if you really like Star Wars (like me), you want more after you play that game pack, or at least I did. Now I want a whole stand alone game for The Sims called "Star Wars". Kind of like when they have come out with The Sims Renaissance. Just a game pack to add more outfits, characters, and gameplay options would even be nice. I thought we would be able to do more in there, like fight someone with the lightsaber. I can't give you too much info because you haven't gotten it yet and I don't want to spoil it, but no...there is no physical Chewbacca and you can't have Darth Vader's voice. I know...pretty disappointing, huh? 😞

Yes! I was definitely going to change his name. lol Good thinking! And that makes me think... They have Rey without a last name. How can you do that in the game? I thought you had to have a last name for every Sim. I wonder if it's some kind of cheat?

The so unfortunately you don’t have a favourite family made me laugh so hard! You know when you instantly laugh by reading something well that’s what happened, if I was eating or drinking something I would have choked or spat it out laughing! I don’t know why it got me so much haha 😆 to be honest I don’t have a favourite family either just sims I like to play pen interact with due to their history with the game!

I do love a bit of Star Wars me! 🤓 and that’s so upsetting! No chewbacca? Ruuauuahahhhhhhhh (the chewbacca rawr 🐯) and no voice aww that’s lame 😒! But well at least it will be fun to play and no lightsaber duels no fair! I would of expected that to be a big part of it!

Okay, I'm glad I'm not the only one. So, one of my favorite characters in TS4 is Kiyoshi Ito from Mt. Komorebi, just because I think he's so adorable! Besides that, I find it cute that him and Kaori Nishidake have a crush on each other, even though her grandfather considers Kiyoshi's dad his enemy. It makes the game even more interesting and adds to it because of the story. It's not obvious I love Snowy Escape or anything, is it? lol 😃

Which makes me wonder, which expansion, game, or stuff pack is your favorite so far? If you have one!

And I think you're right. It really does seem like we're both two of the same person! Think about how many times we've had the same thoughts or ideas and we live at different ends of the world! 🤔

I know! There are definitely lightsabers and you can use them in ways I can't tell you because I don't want to spoil it, but no, you can't fight someone with them. No, no Chewbacca. ☹️ It would've been so awesome if he were in there! It is really cool that they made the game pack, though. I should be a lot more thankful instead of complaining about things missing, huh? lol I guess it's because I really like Star Wars, that's why. I so wish they would come out with a stuff pack to add to it, though! Kind of like My First Pet Stuff adding to Cats & Dogs.

That does sound interesting and exciting to add that storyline but it always works out like that though doesn’t it, it sounds a bit like Shakespeare with Romeo and Juliet and their families!

That sounds cool 😎 when you said you can use the lightsaber in ways you can’t tell me it made me think about the sims cutting bread into slices and eating it because it would already be toast by the time they cut it haha 😂 

But without the complaints how would they know what to improve? It’s like they would just be going along their EA and MAXIS journey skipping and thinking everything’s all good when suddenly they get tripped by a bump in the road and then their all shocked when they see we want a Star Wars themed expansion pack! With the pew pew and the lightsaber sounds (I don’t know how to spell the sounds!) maybe like vvvvvvv vvvvvvvv

God I love our chats it’s so refreshing! It’s all about sims and i love it! It’s as refreshing as I can imagine the sims in the seasons would feel when they have been in the sun for a while and then they go to get a nice cold tropical juice or ice cream 🍨 🍦 I want a nice cold tropical juice now! No fair! I guess I haven’t earned it by being in the sun ☀️ the way they have!

Oh my goodness...here I am thinking you have so many of them! I won't even post which ones I have. I don't have all of them, but I have quite a few and I feel kind of like a TS4 nerd lol. Then again, I don't want to insult anyone who has more or all of the packs that have come with this generation of The Sims!

I love the Snowy Escape pack! I think it's my ultimate favorite, along with Journey to Batuu of course. The only thing I wish is that they would've added more activities that Sims could do together. Again, I think I sound kind of spoiled, don't I? lol I feel like I ask for way too much sometimes. 🤭 But I love Yamachan and Kiyoshi Ito, and yes, it's very snowy! lol Which I love, too. I also absolutely love the world and the songs that came with the pack. I can't wait until you get it. City Living is a good pack, too, I agree. I love the high apartments as well. The view is amazing!

To be honest, you didn't go too far and I'm starting to believe that maybe we do look alike because I thought the exact same thing! I was going to tell you, "Maybe we'll actually meet one day and we'll discover we look alike." LOL Oh wow!

You’re making me so excited to get a new laptop and play all the packs! I can’t right now or but just thinking about it makes me think about all the possibilities! Really the possibilities are endless! Which I love! 

I also love the snow too! Especially around Christmas time that’s when it’s meant to be there although I hate slipping and sliding in it though! When you hit a rough patch and you start looking like a new born Bambi trying to walk haha 🤣 

I’m an ultimate sims nerd and proud! I once won a speed talking competition in school for one minute without erm-ing or hesitating  just talking about sims so yeah ! I won a chocolate that day and everyone else who participated lost! I ate that chocolate with so much pride that it tasted so much better! Lol 😝 😆 😂 

The views are lovely and the riches that come with the best apartments feel so nice for my Sims! Hahaha speaking for them of course! 🤣
