@LiLiPuff86 Yeah it is super annoying. Unfortunately, there isn't a setting that can be used to prevent it. I will sometimes save the houses to my gallery so I can just plop them back down every once and a while (this does fill up the gallery though) or will sometimes use MCCC's evict elders cheat so elders don't die on the lot, therefore the stuff stays in place most of the time. If you are using another simmers save file, they often upload their builds to their gallery and you can just download the houses again so that helps too.
