@Takata5 A few things you can try to delete the buggy item is to...

• Try in both live and build mode to see if you can drag the item to the trash can. 
• If the hot dogs are on any type of flooring &/or foundation that can be deleted sometimes this will delete the buggy item on the flooring &/or foundation.
• Sometimes you can zoom in super close in build mode at different angles (you could try changing to Sims 3 Camera to get a new angle) and see if you can get to a place where it will allow you to grab and delete the item.
• You can try to reset or debug the item.
• Sometimes you can manage to drag a buggy item to inventory then delete it from there.
• Sometimes you can re-add a buggy item to the lot after dragging or 'deleting' it to the household inventory to recover its interactive abilities.
• If you use Mods, or want to try this one temporarily to fix the issue, there is a Mod called T.O.O.L. that you can add to your game then use it to move/remove items in certain manners or off lot that don't normally allow moving/deleting. If all else fails you can save the lot to your library and re-place the home and see if that resets the buggy item. You can then cheat money back to the household's account to make up for any they lost.
