Re: Plant Sim Tree stuck off lot

I don't have any mods on my game and not sure how to do the set as head thing, remove or debug item.  I tried shift clicking but that didn't do anything.  Do I have to set up a special thing before I do this?

you need to put the cheat testingcheats true first

Open the cheat console with ctl-shift-c, then type the cheat and close the cheat box with ctl-shift-c

Then shift click on the object with your active Sim and you should get the option.

Make a backup of your save beforehand.

I've finally gotten to try this.  I don't seem to be doing it right.  Still can't get the tree off the side walk.  I've tried the cheat you suggested, and the shift click after entering cheat mode, but nothing seems to happen.  Not sure what to do
