Re: Actor career family leave

@ReshmaDeodat   Apologies, I somehow missed your reply post.  Did you figure this out?  Is your sim still on family leave?  I did a bit of research just now and found a couple similar threads.  In one of them on the Carl's the Sims 4 Guide, someone suggested sending the sim on vacation to possibly reset their "vacation" status.  This option worked for the OP there so I thought I would mention it.

@ReshmaDeodat   The only way I know of to take a vacation is through the phone.  Click on the phone, then click Travel and then click Take a Vacation. 



After you choose a world and a rental home, you can choose which sims will go with your sim and then you can set how many days.  When you click the final check button, you'll get a load screen and your sims will spawn at the vacation rental.  Perhaps you could then test ending the vacation, sending everyone home to see if that resets the "family leave" issue.  If not, you could just exit without saving and then test sending them on vacation and letting them stay there for at least one day.  I have no idea if this will work but it might be worth a shot. :-)

@ReshmaDeodat   Unfortunately, I don't have any other ideas to overcome this problem.  I did go back to review the creator's posts about the mod and noticed that the more recent updates do not mention family leave at all.  I wonder if they removed that part of the process?  Although, if that was the case,  I'm assuming they would've mentioned that when you spoke with them.  Whatever the case, I guess you'll just have to wait for the creator to address it.  Perhaps they can include a feature to opt out of family leave or to cancel it whenever you so desire.  Sorry I wasn't able to be more help.  I do hope the creator gets back to you soon.
