Neutral/Not Sure If I'm really quick I can place items and once they've been placed I can move them without issue but it's the initial placement.The first few objects I place work fine but it kicks in after a few pieces/a minute or two. I've removed all mods and repaired the game and it is still happening - I think since the last patch update. It has made build/buy mode unplayable.

I've started a new save with the same family in the same lot and the issue seems to be gone, so somehow the issue appears to be isolated to that specific save. Thankfully the game is playable in the new save but I worry that this could happen again. I'm going to reinstall my mods and see how it goes.

@LucyGoosie1 Do you get any lastExceptions when trying to place the objects ?

Nope, nothing popped up yet. So far so good, played a few hours yesterday and didn't encounter it again but I am prone to making new saves pretty regularly when I get bored so I'll be interested to see if it happens again. I did get another glitch during my gameplay where my sim just wouldn't do any queued actions and the time kept changing forward and back depending on the ff speed but going in and out of manage world seemed to sort that.

@LucyGoosie1 That could be lags or mod related if you put your mods back.

I'm also having this issue. Uninstalled my mods and it seems to have resolved. I saw that you had removed yours, did the problem start before you removed them?

Items disappear before I am able to place them from build/buy mode

I've started a new save with the same family in the same lot and the issue seems to be gone, so somehow the issue appears to be isolated to that specific save. I'm having this problem as well. It does not happen all the time. For me, it seems to be in certain builds that I have downloaded where there is an issue. I play with no mods/cc, so it's not issue for me in that department.
I was able to record what is happening. Sometimes the item is there for a few seconds and sometimes it disappears right after you click it in the catalog. While the video shows items from debug, it also affects the regular items as well.

I am having the same exact issue as what you are describing. Makes build/buy mode virtually unusable.

I deactivated all of my mods; this did not help.
