Re: Sims 4 clothes not showing up on Sims

I made a mistake there, my bad. They aren't naked, but none of their clothes are showing up. It's just their underwear. All of my sims outfits are gone for some reason... Sorry for the confusion. @jwolhart @puzzlezaddict The methods were unfortunately unsuccessful and they are still in their underwear.

@SiSiSiennaaa  So even if you give your sims new cc outfits, they still show up in their underwear?  And is this in-game or just in the thumbnails you see when loading a save or hovering over a house?  Please try having the sims themselves spin into outfits a few times just to see whether the issue corrects itself.  If it doesn't, try giving them non-cc outfits instead and let me know how it goes.

If that doesn't help either, please move your entire Mods folder to the desktop, delete localthumbcache.package, and give your sims non-cc outfits.  You can use "save as" to rename the save so the original is unaffected.  If that works, add a few cc items to the new Mods folder, but no mods, and see whether your sims can wear those items.

You can change their outfits into outfits with CC and they will appear in-game. My problem is that my outfits that have CC and Non-CC are no longer there in their outfits slot. What used to be there is longer and they are just in their underwear. I can customize them into a new outfit, but my old outfits aren't appearing and they're just in underwear. I can put them back into their original outfit by customizing them again, but I don't want to have to customize alll my characters again. With one of my households, I tried replacing them with their version in My Library. It only worked for the first outfit. In the other outfits, they are all in their underwear. This is in-game and when you hover over households.

@SiSiSiennaaa  Just as an experiment, take a look at your Library sims in a new Sims 4 folder.  Move the entire existing folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, launch the game once to spawn a clean folder, and copy over the Tray folder from your old Sims 4 folder.  Copy over the cc the Library sims are wearing as well, but only those items, or a subset of those items.  The point isn't to fix every outfit for every sim, just to see if any of the broken outfits look normal again, so don't worry about getting every single cc item.

If this works, you can try loading a backup save in the new Sims 4 folder, again with the minimum cc necessary to test.  If it helps, don't save your progress; just quit and keep adding more cc until the sims' outfits are all fine again.  If they reappear in their underwear, you'll know that something you just added is a problem, and you can sort through that last batch of items until you find the culprit.  Here's how to load a backup save; use the manual method and copy the backup to the new Sims 4 folder.

If the Library sims are still in their underwear, other than their everyday outfits, it sounds like some of your cc is broken, and unfortunately the only thing you can do is re-dress them in items that are currently working.
