Hi, I was wondering if there's a way to play the game with a 4:3 resolution without the widescreen letterboxing? It works normally when I use it in other games, stretching to fill the screen as I have my display settings set to do that, but it doesn't work for this game. Thank you.
4:3 with black bars is a nightmare, for those of us who want to use it, please allow a 4:3 stretched resolution

What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Trying to fix it with NVIDIA control panel which didnt end up working.

What happens when the bug occurs? Black bars appear at the top and bottom of the screen.
What should be happening instead? It should show the entire game and the game shouldn't have black bars. The screen should be filled with the entire game instead of just black bars.

I play on 4:3 monitor , my native res is 1280x1024 , and I play on this resolution but i have black bars on top and on bottom , is there a way to fix this , it's annoying since half of my monitor is black
ive been playing apex legends for a while now and im having a blast, im not playing with my monitors native res in this game or any other game. Right now im playing with 16:10 aspect ration and when i try to put it on 4:3 witch i wish to play on i just get black bars from the top and bottom. i cant play with them so i wonder if there is a way to play without blackbars on 4:3?
Hello, so I and many others who play games at stretched has this problem where when you play 4:3 the bottom and top of the screen gets black bars, which is really annoying and it doesn't fill out the entire screen. Respawn needs to fix this problem, because I would like to play this game on stretched 🙂. If anyone has found a way to fix it, please post it here it would be amazing!
I have heard that its called wideletterbox thing, I am not sure what the name is but maybe there is a way to disable it?
