Controller players.The current state of Aim Assist is awful, its ABSOLUTELY an advantage to play on controller in the late stages of the game, or during any close range engagement. I see the Issue as two fold, the main contributor to the power of aim assist is the built in No-Recoil. The second being Auto-Aim, or as I like to call it Built in Aimbot. I think its sad that anyone can justify having aimbot and no recoil. If you feel like you are at a disadvantage then maybe you should spend the same amount of time as Keyboard and Mouse players to Get Good. I feel like the work I put in to get to where I am with aim and movement was for nothing and that I would do better after 18 years of KBM to switch to controller for the built in aimbot and norecoil.

Bruh you must be absolute garbage if you're getting beat by controller players on PC. 18 years of KBM? I play on console and PC and I would choose PC 100% of the time if my friends werent on console. Like you must be really bad LMAO.

@nvstrike Since season 4, Apex on PC Is just another console, half the server is filled with controller players, mostly because they switch to PC and destroy their first games full of bots getting ALL Of them their 4k dmg 20kills badges and then they got paired with the top Pc m/K players, i have a K/d ratio of 4 and all i see are low levels 25-200 that destroys everyone at closerange and stop moving while looting, every single match, see my video in the other comment, aim assist is way too powerful.

I am sorry but if you think that a controller has any kind of advantage over m+k you are wrong. Apex doesn't have aim assist strong enough to give an edge to someone using a controller. Long range with a controller is clunky and close range doesn't have the advantage you think it has, especially when faced with the accuracy of a mouse.Besides aiming, keyboard controls just offers movement on a whole different level compared to a controller. It's extremely difficult to pull off the high-level play movement tech with a controller, if not downright impossible.It just seems that you're overestimating your abilities if you find controller players beating you when you are using m+k yourself, and by all means I would encourage you to switch to a controller if you find it so overpowered.

Aim assist has autotracking; m/k players need to predict movement, if you fail your prediction you will fail a lot of bullets, most players have 140-240 ms reaction time, controller doesn't need that, aim assist reacts with 0ms response to enemies movement that's the main reason why controller players can 1 clip everyone,
Just see the g7dolphin 1vs1 tournament, that tourney was dominated by controller players, at close range with m/k you will never win against a controller unless you predict all enemies movements, and even if you're a pro you can't see the future or react with 0ms like aim assist.

Try shooting someone who is 1cm away from you with a controller. Or try to shoot someone that is in the air with a controller. Or try shooting someone who is on the ground while you yourself are in the air with a controller. Or reread my comment carefully.

A 1v1 tournament is a great example for controller vs. mouse superiority. Everyone knows Apex is 1v1 after all.

What about regular tournament play then? You know, the standard 3-man-squad battle royale experience, aka how the actual game plays like. What's the controller percentage usage there? Since it's so OP as you claim I would assume about 90% of players use controllers.

can you test if the Aim assist also works in smoke (bangladesh and caustic), i watched someone in my last game. it looked like a bit strange, he followed people with his crosshair (smooth) in smoke without seeing them.

Its not trust me, try to play with a controller yourself and you’ll see. I play apex the majority on ps4 and when hop onto my pc I dont even have to try to control the recoil, it feels so better, so much more natural from the small adjustments and flicks. People who complain about controllers have to realize theyre worse than those players skillwise, dont make excuses.

I agree. We asked to remove all the cheaters. And what did they do? They added a legal cheaters. Absolutely stupid decision!
Just give us an option to play with only the kb/ms players.

Thats definitely unfair towards others that are using legit controllers. But still KBM is superior when it comes to gunplay type games like Apex. Maybe itll help you alot against pc players but any person whos proficient with kbm will outgun them. Movement is horrible with a controller so you will have to rely on perfect accuracy to compete with a kbm person.

You know that Cronus Zen can emulate that you use a controller on PC to get the Aim Assist, even when you use M/K?
Also it is a problem, that it is a device between m/k and pc, scripts were executed directly in that device and the anti cheat software can't detect that because there is no process in the background on your PC.

i don't wanna advertising that device, i just wanna say that such devices ruining multiplayer online games.

@BillyCrash100 I played with controller before m/k i only have 4 years with m/k, i played with controllers since i was a kid, i have 27 years so i have at least 22 years using controllers in every console and i always complained about aim assist since Halo days, i always tried to play without it, but sure, controller is not a good input for FPS, is bad for movement, is bad for aiming, then why there's a bunch of Pro's with controller in a fast game like apex where movement and aiming is all about? Aim assist is the only answer, on tounaments if you know the players, at least a 40% is using a controller (way too many for a bad input) its even a full team called ironically "aim assist"(resultah, gentrifying, desingful) Soar team is only controllers (kobi, jhonny, daltoosh, etc, CLG have Nicewigg, Snipedown, thekine, knoqd, calamitii, averageaden, I can put an enormous list of TOP controller players but will be so damn long and im not saying they're bad, but sure without aim assist, only 1 to 4% of them will actually reach pro level.
I understand your point, controller have so many disadvantages so why it can keep up with m/k?, it's only because aim assist is way too strong, and let's be honest, if aim assist is the only way controller players can aim, it's not true skill, you are being ASSISTED, and why it's legal to enter a tourney with money involved and have Aim assist only because you choose a bad input, not a single game or pro sport in the world allows that.
For Pubs is fine as it is now but for ranked and toruneys should not be allowed at all.

@Raklor_R Aim assist doesn't work through bangalore's smoke, works with caustic smoke because enemies are highlighted, probably he predict the enemy movement, it's not that hard, or maybe he got lucky, happens... or maybe only maybe he modded his controller so he can have a most powerful aim assist 70-80%, (Pc is nowa at 40% and console at 60% according to Data miners.)
