the mental gymnastic of aim assist abuser is something lmao.
*sigh* Okay, in some cases the aim assist is a bit strong, but usually that's not the problem, (although Respawn is trying to figure out how to balance it). The problem is all the players using strikepacks, xim, etc. on top of the existing aim assist.
When you get rolled by a controller player, their aim is often all over the place and not steady. It may have little recoil, and that's normal, but if you see absolutely zero recoil, that's a strikepack, if they're locking on more, looting while in a deathbox, or doing something only a PC player can do, that's xim, (which is something that enables M&K on a console which isn't possible otherwise).
As I've stated before in other threads, I've played the game on an Xbox and I've used a controller on PC to see what the issue was about. I can feel the difference between the PC and console aim assist values, (PC is 40%, console is 60% if I recall correctly, with 100% being aimbot). In my opinion, the aim assist is good, but its not so good that you can 1v1 a pro, (even an ALGs one at that), and always win no matter what.
What most of us are experiencing are players abusing the aim assist by using other means. Players who run such gimmicks gives console players a bad reputation. It be great if other players could stop lumping legit console players in with the ones abusing a strikepack, xim, etc., and wait for Respawn to balance the current aim assist as need be.
