It doesnt. Several tests have shown that recent versions of the game no longer work due to the anticheat detecting Wine as if it were a cheat tool.

Anyone using stadia should be a ashamed it's destruction of freedom and ownership, People need to stop chewing on these dog toy titles.

Linux already start to be better than windows at gaming. Why don't make that game to be playable on Linux? 

 We are players too, and is not that hard.

Play Apex Legends very rarely because I use Linux as my primary OS.

Will the game coming to Steam help?

Yeah it come on steam BUT the it still doesn´t work. Atleast form me no...

The game was released on Steam, it launches on Linux from Steam (Proton 5.13), but the Easy Anti-Cheat boots you into the main menu every minute.

For me it´s harder. I have PC with no ACPI Support and only linux will work. Most of the aplications run fine, Tried Lutris, No luck. Steam worked better but not for every app. After I will get my Laptop back to fully working condition I will try to work out the problems. And of couse every Linux Distro is diferent. But the EasyAntyCheat is a problem. But somethink like WarThunder, which uses this works fine. But I think it overpasses the EAC and just dont use it, or it uses somethink diferent. Apex is just not made for Linux operating systems.
