Apex legends changes (PLEASE READ)

Oh my goodness, how many of these threads have I seen, both here and on Reddit?

The problem is that Respawn has been completely ignoring the feedback they've been receiving from players on these topics for six months.

The game started falling apart since the Ash rework, which shouldn't have happened at all. They've slightly nerfed Ash several times, but it doesn't seem to help, because the problem lies in her dash combined with her snares. They're afraid to touch it and afraid to admit their mistake, that this rework was a huge mistake.

Now they thought that buffing Revenant would change something. And yes, it did – we have two powerful legends who dominate Apex, and Ash has been doing it for six months now.

I completely agree that legends without any movement are currently dead. There's no way to counter such a move. Currently, only Wattson, the controller player, can do anything about it, but the move they created completely destroyed the game's essence. There are no tactics left except "crack shield -> dash, snares, and kill." This tactic has dominated for six months.

Now, ALGS matches are the only thing that resembles the old Apex, where games end in the last ring and everyone plays with logical thinking.

If someone like me plays exclusively pubs (I don't feel like playing solo q in diamond with 3-stack masters/preds), they're probably fed up with the game at times.

The first ring closes, leaving 5-10 teams. The second ring closes, and you're fighting for victory or defeat. Games have never been as boring as they were since the Ash rework, combined with the TTK reduction.

If you land anywhere other than in a hotspot where half the lobby is, you'll usually end up with one of the last teams, who will kill you in 5 seconds.

I've said this in other threads and I'll say it again – Ash should be immediately restored to her original, non-dash state.

Revenant shouldn't be able to jump as far as she does now.

I don't have a major problem with Vantage, but for legends without movement, it's definitely a problem.

Look at what's happened to this game – Ash flies, Sparrow jumps constantly, Revenant jumps much further, Loba and Pathinder have two stacks of tactical abilities, Ballistic runs very fast during his ult. Meanwhile, controllers are at the same point they were (and other legends without any movement).

The developers themselves killed legends without movement, which is why the meta has a 50% pick rate of Ash+Rev.

If they don't wake up in Season 26, I wish them luck... and those players who are still here.

For God's sake, can someone open the eyes and minds of the developers at Respawn?
