Cat & Mouse

So I have begun to play solo Loba on E-District (I play full team on the others). And it is fun.

With her ability to translate across moderate distances, I can give a full team the slip.

With Sentinel and 4x8 scope I can snipe from a distance and then evade. (I am not a strong player.)

It feels like a cat and mouse game. And it is fun. E-Dist is the only map large enough to play it in the current game mode.

rEAspawn should consider a game mode "Cat And Mouse", an asymmetrical game mode where you can play as the mouse (solo) or a cat (trio). The mouse has the ability to evade by jumping distances like Loba or Ash, can turn invisible for a short time, etc., And can only carry a Sniper class weapon.

I've been doing exactly this since maybe season four? Five? Pretty early on. I don't bother to "no fill" because squadies are mostly dead on drop. But yes, it's an entire mini-game all on its own. I highly recommend Valk. Her tactical is possibly a little less flexible than Loba's, but has fire power to go with it. And her ult is unbeatable.

Funny though that you do this on E-district. I find the ground there to be so cluttered with buildings and cover that it makes my patented mid-range poke very hard to accomplish. And if the enemies are any good at all then they know how to use that cover to get very close very fast, sometimes even faster than my ult can work. No, I much prefer the wide open spaces of Moon or Point for that kind of gameplay.

More people should try this. It hones your situational awareness and your mobility skills.
