Caustic passive
Why my boy Caustic can't get a new, normal and useful passive? He feels so old compared to other legends like some sort of character that has been forgotten.

and here we have seer with literally wallhack passive ..... great job apex devs
i don't like most of the legends passives i only like one's on A .
A tier - Octane, Gibraltar, Horizon, Lifeline auto ress, Seer, Valkyrie
B -Bangalore, Bloodhound ,Revenant, Fuse,
C -Caustic, Pathfinder ,Wraith, Wattson, Mirage, Loba ,Rampart,Crypto
and please don't tell me Wraith passive is A tier because i died soo many time and after that oh somebody aims at you nice ........
and activated caustic trap and same oh there traps near by........
@worstSoloQeverMany legends are in need of some form of rework, as more and more legends (and weapons) are introduced certain legends just get swept more and more under the rug and almost forgotten about
I know Pathfinder was supposed to be getting a new passive where he could use his ‘’eye’’ as a 4-8 times scope to the surrounding areas... originally it wasn’t supposed to be usable on a gun and was only for surveillance purposes but with the direction Apex is headed lately with overpowered things... who knows lolCaustic is one of those legends I’m not quite sure what a good passive would be... you don’t want him too strong but definitely not too weak like he was after recieve his heirloom and town take over
to be 100% honest defensive legends need to be buffed a ton... Gibraltar is an exception of course because he is already really strong and Rampart isn’t even a defensive legend anymore she is a full on Breacher with Sheila... but when it comes to actual defensive legends with traps Caustic and Wattson are both in need of major reworks/buffs of some sort and whats dumb is I saw a leak for another future legend’s ability similar to Crypto’s EMP to instantly destroy all enemy traps in the area.... whats the point in making Caustic and Wattson that much weaker when they are already 2 of the least used legends in the game (This leak was technically from along time ago even though brought up a few days ago so hopefully their ability was changed or scrapped by now)
How about his passive is that not only do players actually reliably become highlighted by being in gas, but that they also become "tainted" by the gas for a period of time even if they just step into it? This could work a little bit like a bloodhound scan, or the Seer thing. Set off a trap and walk into my gas, then you get tagged for 5 seconds or 3 seconds for the team. Not suggesting they continue to take damage for this period if they aren't still in the gas.
This would fit in with the general theme they are adding what with introducing seer and adding a similar mechanic to Fuses ultimate.
